Projects Completed: Redwood- IML- In Mold Labelling (Stack Moulds for thin walled components), Rio (Cap and
Closures Mold Management). Mold Health Review Project. MHR (Mold Health Review Project) involved discussion
with 120 suppliers of Unilever across the globe to ensure uninterrupted supplies by understanding the mold condition

Job Responsibilities
 Responsible for planning, scheduling, conducting and coordinating the technical and management aspects of

with 120 suppliers in the AAR region to understand the mold condition of Unilever invested molds to avoid supply

the Indian Diagnostic Industry. It has the largest Sales and Installation base with over 20,000 installations all over the
country. It is one and only Indian Manufacturing & Exporting Company for sophisticated Biochemistry Analyzers. The
company today produces world-class equipments, which are sold not only in India, but also exported across the globe.
Attainments:
 Design, Development of machine assemblies (blood analyzers) & machine sub-assemblies with part detailing on
engineering software’s AutoCAD & Pro-E. As a team we designed parts and tools for Bearing component assemblies,
sheet metal parts, plastic parts, rubber parts, Gas spring case study, Fabrications and Casting components.

Projects Completed: Developed new Casseroles (2nos.) sets (3 capacities), Five new Water bottles, Two Vacuum Flasks,
Five tiffin’s, One Ice Pail. Household components such as Buckets with handle (3
capacities), Small Stool, Mug & Jars. Products for Microwave and Kitchenware’s.
Trouble shooting of existing plastic products by cause analysis and successfully
validating and qualifying the part.

 Product design & detailing of plastic components & Injection mold design on AUTO-CAD of all newly designed

 Outsourcing the tools to Mold-Makers and getting quotations. Negotiating the Mold costs with Mold makers.
 Discussing with design team in case of product design changes required. The mold maker feed-back is also taken
and product design changes done accordingly.
 Studying the mold design with Mold Makers and freezing the mold design.
 Qualifying the moulds locally and at the respective plants in India.
 Development of Injection molds, Blow molds & troubleshooting of molds at respective plants in India.

- Responsible for manufacturing Injection molds to run on injection molding machines of L&T Demag make
(15nos).
- Product Design, Development, Manufacturing (Out-Sourcing) & Maintenance of molds for perfume caps,
closures, containers, Cream jars, Flip-Tops, Bottle caps, Lipstick products and laundry products.
Attainments:
 Successfully handled prestigious project of MTV consisting of 25 injection moulds with production targets.
 Reduced overall cycle time of newly developed moulds by upgrading customers with latest developments.
 Major role in establishing the product validation process to help in alternate sourcing activities, cost reduction &
reliability issues. Validation done through vendor identifications/qualifications, audits, component inspection, in-
house & field trials.
 Maintenance & development of Pen molds & Hot Runner Molds under guidance of Production Manager.
 Led the complete run-off & in-house development & validation for new LOREAL Products & Molds.
From September’01 to June’02 with Nozzle Auto Association Pvt. Ltd., THANE (Mumbai). As Senior Tool-
room Engineer.
Products Handled: Manufacturer of Bearings for Auto Mobile Industries, Trusted partners for various OEMs for their
requirement of bearings and related products. Products are exported to various countries which include USA, China, Thailand,
Austria, Turkey, United Kingdom, Switzerland, and Australia & U.A.E.
Attainments:
 Spearheaded an Australian Project consisting of seven moulds right from Product design, Mould design, Manufacture
(70% of the parts manufactured of the mold were outsourced & in-house assembly was done). Qualification of
moulds & approval of product was done.
 Good exposure to product & mould design of Bearings.
 Spearheaded manufacturing of hand moulds & vertical moulds for low volume parts. Developed Injection molds &
components for bearing cages and bearing assemblies.
 Design inputs for parts manufactured on Traub machine. Tool design inputs for machining Traub component.
