Reframing the problem
After the valuation received, I prefered to change
the problem that I suggested on the last lesson.
• Before: “Find a new job tha satisies her”
• Now: “How can she modify the way her boss and
co-workers value the work she made and her
performance?”
1. Idea Generation
• Change the job
• Look for a job more challenging than the current one
• Change the current group/team that you are working
• Talk with her boss about the discontents in the work
• Talk and discuss with the co-workers about the situation
• Consider opening your own business
• Take some advice from other person who had the same
problem
• Take some advice from someone that have the work
considered right/acceptable
• Cry and don’t make nothing
• Wait for their approval
• Complain a lot with everyone
• Stop doing the work to see if someone notice the
difference
• Work with low performance in protest
• Buy some gifts to please people
• Do blackmail
• Speaking ill of the work of others
• Show the accomplishments made during the
year and highlight them
• Show how they impact/help the company
• Compare the results obtained between different
workers
• Make a list with your goals
• Make a list with the goals that has been achieved
• Ask why do they don’t value the work as they
should or as you expected
• Ask how could you change the work you present
to obtain more positive results
• Ask what do they expect from your work
• Ask them how far you are from their
expectations
• Present new proposals and working
methodologies, thus showing his interest in the
company's growth
• Always be available to the boss and co-workers
• Show that you understand and dominate the subject
of which is necessary for your job
• Being communicative and speak confidently to gain
more space and be recognized by the others
• Always be aware of everything that happens in the
company and around it
• be proactive
• Raise questions to show interest in the affairs of the
company
• Question previous work methodologies adopted by the
company
• Ask whether the way things are being run are really the
most effective
• See how can you help the company to get/be more
efficient
• Seek new proposals
• Research new methodologies
• Find out the new trends of the market in which the
company is part
• Be aware of the innovations
• Work hard
• Be more sociable at work
• Have lunch with your co-workers
• Show that you are interested in what they say
• Bring ideas and experiences from other
countries and assimilate them in your work

working
Sometimes you work better with other people
because you have a common point of view, act
similarly in front of problems and resolve them
almost in the same way
• Bring ideas and experiences from other
countries and assimilate them in your work

Maybe it poses a high cost, but the experiences of
other countries allow new ideas arise.
• Being communicative and speak confidently to
gain more space and be recognized by the others
Communication within the work is essential. The
way you talk to people shows your personality and
confidence in your own work
