Feed back Training & workshop (1) Medea 2 • Date:      October  21st    2014   • Place:          CEM  Kamel  Zmirline      Medea  -­‐2-­‐)   • Time:              9:00  -­‐1200   • Inspector:            Mrs.Nacera  Benzerouk.   • Teacher  Trainers:      Mr.Samir  Bounab  &  Med  Amine  Kalache.   •  Topic:        Lesson  plan.   • Teachers  concerned  by  this  training:          Novice  teachers    (28)   • Material:            data  show/computer/white  board/  papers  /  hand  outs  for  teachers     • TWBAT:          Plan  a  lesson  for  the  4  Middle  School  learners.   Time     What  happened?   Why?     What  to  do?  /How   to  do  it    9:20   - Opening  Session.       - 6  teachers  among  28  were  absent.   - Inspector    welcomed  the  teachers  and  introduced  herself  and  the   teachers  trainers  to    the  audience.    A  delay  because   all  teachers  could   not  arrive  in  time   -­‐  The  meeting  was   in  the  town  hall   wilaya  .     -­‐Ask  teachers  to   join  the  nearest   training    area    since   there  are  4  areas     9:30   - The  meeting  started  with  a  photo  showing  a  teacher  :   -   -­‐Trainees  were  asked  to  interpret  the  photo  and  talk  as  much  as  they  can  .   The  teacher  trainer  reported  all  the    answers  on  the  board  and  use  d  a  mind   mapping     - brainstorm   to  make   trainees  at   ease  .   - check  if  they   really  live   such   situations     -­‐Make  teachers  feel   aware  about  the   importance  of   planning  lesson     -­‐how  to  undertake   such  mood     9:40                                 11:30   -­‐Power  point  presentation  :           1. Teaching frameworks PPU , PDP ,PIASP& writing process   - Teachers  need   to  know    the   importance  of  a   lesson  plan.   - Teachers  need   to  master  the     frame  works  of   any  lesson  plan   - Make  difference   between   teaching  the   manual  and   about  the  book   - Avoid  teaching   in  linear  way     - Be  aware  of   modern   technologies     - be  aware  that   planning  is   very  important   - Plan  according  to   the  learners  needs  .   - Be  aware  about   the  latest  slimming   down  of  the   syllabus  2013.   - Know  how  to   SARS  while   adapting  the   manual   - Get  updated  and   accept  the  fact  to   change  and  learn   from  every  day’s     teaching  (  AFL)   - Use  laptops  and   data  shows  and   even  internet    in   class   - Help  learners  use   their    modern     technologies    
  • 2.   11:30         11:45       - Teacher  trainer  invited  the  audience    to    make  a  feed  back  about  the     power  point    presentation     -     -­‐check  if  teacher   really  grasped  the   topic  of  the  day     - Put  what  they   learnt  into   practice   - Plan  lessons  (   PPU  or  PDP  ..    11:45     - General  discussion  about  what  problems  the  novice  teachers  are  facing.             - Invite  the  novice  teachers  to  everyday  continuous  training.   -   - Help   teachers  in   their  duty   - Get  more   practice    and   practical   courses   -   -­‐  find  the  easiest   way  to  overcome   the  problems   -­‐  each  novice   teacher  is  ask  to   follow  and   experienced  One  in   his  or  her  school   and  perform  15   practical  lessons     before   confirmation  exam   (  CAPEM    12:00   - Because  of  short  time  the  workshop  was    delayed  to  the  next  meeting   - Closure  of  the  meeting.   - Teachers   were  late   - Inform   teachers   about  the   planning  of   the  next   meetings     - invite   teachers  to   the  nearest   training  area         By     Mr.Samir  Bounab       Yellowdafofdil66@gmail.com
