“A mother advice “
My only little girl Jana,
Do not be frightened and sad because I am going to pass away.
Learn, my child, to look at life as a serious matter. Life is hard, but do
not let it defeat you. Decide to fight. Have courage and clear goals–and
you will win over life. Go through the world with open eyes, and listen
not only to your own pains and interests, but also to the pains and
interests of others. If you do that, you will succeed in contributing to the
common goals of human society.
Examine, think, criticize, yes, mainly criticize yourself and don’t be
ashamed to admit a truth you have come to realize, even if you
proclaimed the opposite a little while ago;. Just do not go on a road,
which is wrong and dishonest.
Another value is work. Learn to love work! But even if you have to
leave school one day and work, don’t stop learning and studying. Read

Just one more thing, choose your friends carefully. One is also very
much determined by the people with whom one associates. Therefore,
choose very carefully and listen to the opinions of others about your
friends.

2. Text: Voluntary work
Volunteering is offering help to make people happy in their
lives. Some volunteering organizations or associations are doing
a good work to help poor people in the society. Mary Sutherland
is one of those extraordinary volunteers. She escaped from the
streets to help others. Her story started when she was homeless
and did not succeed in her school studies at 15.
She had difficult life and started at the age of 17, a charity
working with homeless. Four years later, she run the SAFE
project with three other volunteers. The SAFE project offers many
services for the homeless from spiritual help to food and clothing,
advice, love and support. Mary also organises meals and shelter
for homeless. She is 21 now and she is working with some young
volunteers who are willing to raise money for homeless
Mary said: "This amazing and valuable experience (being a
volunteer) helped me to be more satisfied and confident. It also
gave me a new goal: keep doing anything I can help to fill our
world with laughter and joy . We need to collect more money for
the poor"
