1. Narrative: Language Pillar
One thing that language does for the children is helping them understand
their culture along with other cultures as well. Since the United States is rapidly
growing in language and emerging in different cultures, students need to
understand the different languages and cultures that are now present within the
their country. Language can be implemented into many different ways within the
curriculum.
Another major reason for language is the work place. I think language is so
diverse now that many jobs are looking for bilingual workers who can communicate
with other agencies of the business in different countries. I think this also shows
students how important language can be and in the long run teach them more about
their native language while also learning another language in the process.
