Using70 x 35 mgp10 pine.Studentsare toset-out,measure &cut1 pattern
CommonRafter& 1 pattern HipRafter.Once your trainerhas inspected &
confirmedthese rafters,youmaythenproceedto settingoutthe roof frame
memberlocationsandconstructing yourpitched roof model.
6. Take photographsof completedPractical Assessmentactivity&uploadtodrop-box
Use yourphone (Ready Skillsapp) totake a videoof the completed
PitchedRoof andyour completed calculations sheet.
7. Dismantle,de-nailroof frame &returnall toolstostore.
SAFELY de-constructed, ALLfixingsremoved. Anyre-usable timber
lengthsare to be storedinracks.
All small timberpiecesplacedinscrapbinsand cleanwork
area. All toolsare to be returnedto the store.

Assessment. These are to be labelled & safely stored for further use when building your
Practical Assessment for Construct Ceiling Frames

Assessment Conditions
Assessment will be always conducted in simulated work environment CIT Bruce under teacher
supervision. If at any stage the assessor deems the assessment to be unsafe it will be stopped.
Access to all resources, manual and standards is permitted. All mobile phones areto be switch off.
Materials Provided by CIT
All materials and tools required to complete the task will be provided.
Materials You Need
Personal protective equipment PPE and nail bag and a device to be able to access Ready Skills.
Attempts
You may have at least two (2) attempts for this assessment.
 If your first attempt is not successful, your teacher will discuss your results with you and will arrange
a second attempt.
 If your second attempt is not successful, you may be required to re-enrol in this unit.

These are to be labelled & safely stored for further use when building your Practical Assessment for Construct Ceiling Frames Time Allowed 8 hours Assessment Conditions Assessment will be always conducted in simulated work environment CIT Bruce under teacher supervision. If at any stage the assessor deems the assessment to be unsafe it will be stopped. Access to all resources, manual and standards is permitted. All mobile phones areto be switch off. Materials Provided by CIT All materials and tools required to complete the task will be provided. Materials You Need Personal protective equipment PPE and nail bag and a device to be able to access Ready Skills.
