1. Market Intelligence Manager JD
Lead the Market Intelligence function for the Personal Systems Group (PSG)
supporting the PSG WW Strategy & Planning organization with market analysis
and research for business planning, driving strategic projects and
initiatives, manage market share and market forecast process.
Work closely with the PSG WW Strategy & Planning team, with Market
Intelligence teams across regions, and collaborate with key PSG functions
within Category, Supply Chain, Channel and Volume Sales on an as-needed
basis. Interface with market analysts such as IDC and Gartner.
Primary function of this job:
- Anticipate and respond to Executive level (EVPs/VPs) Market
Intelligence needs and requests with the ability to draft/storyboard
deliverables in a way that captures executive attention.
- Conducts special studies, leads projects and acquires timely/accurate
data and information for analysis and decision-making on important
strategic projects.
- Provide insightful competitive analysis for key competitors across the
region.
- Conceptualize and deliver new analyses on market trends and
opportunities that are timely and relevant to emerging PSG business
needs.
- Lead a team of analysts & senior analysts to ensure timely reporting to
the PSG community of PSG market share results.
- Improve the timeliness, usability, and relevance of market size &
growth rate forecast assumptions through interactions with analysts,
PSG functions (Category, marketing, GTM) and country strategy &
planning.
- Provide accurate market share guidance to industry analysts in
compliance with corporate policies.
- Contribute primary research insights for product planning & positioning.
Your profile:
- Top tier MBA preferred.
- 8+ years of work experience
- Ability to understand business environment and resolve complex issues
to provide meaningful solutions.
- Leadership capabilities and High level of autonomy and pro-activeness.
- Previous hands-on experience in Market Intelligence and Analysis is
mandatory or should have strong consulting experience that involved
financial analysis, M&A etc.
- Strong executive presence and ability to work with/influence senior
management stakeholders
- Strong analytical skills and work easily with numbers and multi-
dimensional data. Excellent excel and powerpoint skills
- Great facilitation and communication capabilities and fluent in English.
- Prior experience working in a virtual business environment.
- Exhibit a sense of urgency/high levels of responsiveness.
