3. Working title: Depth
As it relates to how there is more behind the story than what the

5. Target audience
• The genre of the film is teen horror/thriller. Because of this the main
target audience applies to many different categories.
• The genre which would watch this film and is the main target
audience would be both boys and girls. This is because thriller movies
attract boys due to the content of the film where they tend to be drawn in
from the suspense and thrilling storyline. This will also attract females as
they are often drawn in because of the mystery of the film.
• For looking at the demographics of the movie the categories would be
categories C2, D and E. This is because we are aiming to attract young
people and teenagers so typically these categories would be which these
groups would fall into. We are aiming to attract to this age and
demographic of people as the film stars and features all teenagers
meaning that the audience can easily relate to the audience because of
this.
• Within psychographics the group which would apply to our film would be
aspirers. This is because this psychograph tends to apply to young people
and this is our target audience.
6. The film poster for "girl on the
train" is similar to what we
would make our poster like
due to the theme colours of
red and black as this helps
emphasizes the genre of a
thriller as they are dark
colours building the
appropriate creepy
atmosphere for a thriller
genre.
For the main image we want to
include a train or features of a
train including windows as this
will be in our teaser trailer so this
will then show links between both
products. We also want to include a
tagline to create a brand name
for our film and it will reveal
information but leaving
enough to engage the
audience to find our what
happens next.

Idea for a film poster
7. Idea for a magazine cover
There is a lot of red used in the empire and film magazine cover. We will focus
on using red and blacks on our magazine cover as it signifies the genre thriller.
These magazine covers all have a brief description of the films for example "what's cooking?"
And "inside Marty's Madhouse". For our magazine cover will include a brief cover line that
will reveal enough to the audience to keep them interested.
8. Ideas for a teaser trailer
Montage editing = increase suspense
Pace will start off slow, then quicken, then slow down at the end
We will use textual graphics to narrative the trailer.
We will use as little dialogue as possible to help create a tense mood.
Close up of eyes on there own for dramatic effect.
