M/s Western India Forgings Pvt Ltd, Pune: This group is engaged in manufacturing of diversified open die, closed die and
ring rolled forgings in three plants located in Pune & Sanaswadi with an annual group turnover of over Rs. 350 Crores. This
group has ten Pneumatic & hydraulic close die forging Hammers ranging from 1T till 16T, one each 2500T& 4000T, 4500T
Press Lines and 3 meter Ring Rolling Machine along with 1T, 3T, 5T pneumatic hammer and 1600 T ZDAS, for open die
forging. WIF is mainly engaged in manufacturing of forgings for Oil Field Industry, Earth Moving Equipment, Gear Industry,
Wind energy & Automotive Industries.
Key Achievements:
Steered the company through a very stringent overseas customer audit for Quality and Systems and
Instrumental in re-instating AVL status within two years of joining.
Established Die Design and QA departments at Sanaswadi plant from scratch.
