2. I liked these three because they all convey some form of attitude which is conventional of a music magazine and i wanted to follow as many
conventions as possible, i won’t use the last picture on this page because one of the people isn’t looking into the camera lens and so i won’t be
following the convention of direct address. The middle one is out of focus so i won’t use that one either.
3. What i liked about these is they all have direct address, however they don’t all convey the attitude that reflects the rock genre of music so i am most
likely not going to use these images but they are some of the better images that i have taken throughout my photo shoots. The lighting is dark and the
trees stand out, i feel like this is a good background that has connotations of the rock genre because it is dark and a bit creepy etc.
4. I like the positioning in the first image because they are empowered in the shot and that conveys the attitude of rock. One thing i don’t like about the
first image is the fact that the expressions don’t say much in terms of attitude or conveying rock at all. I really like the middle image because it the
people in it are highlighted by the lights and this draws your attention to the people in the picture, also it is a background that tells us a little bit about
the people in the picture and what the area they live in is like which people who read music magazines like to be able to relate to.
