TASK 1 Idea Generation and
Research
RESEARCH & IDEA
GENERATION
Select a song/track that you like [or don’t like!]
Generate three ideas for music videos employing styles,
techniques and conventions that we have looked at in
previous sessions. Explore how you could interpret the
song differently using different methods
You can add any extra info you think is relevant, images,
mind maps, etc
For quick mind maps you could use bubbl.us to generate
these
RESEARCH AND IDEA GENERATION-
NINJAMAN BY NINJAMAN
Song has is fairly repetitive and has a beat that is easy to
cut to.
Is a resent dancehall song that is quite catchy so will appeal
to people aged 16-24. The even though the song is
essentially about about how hard Ninjaman is, it also family
friendly as he gets his point across by comparing himself to
a ninja. This can be interpreted in a family friendly manner
as clips from kung fu films and ninja or samurai anime such
as something like Naruto.
Another element would be filmed with a camera using clips I
would make myself. This could work as I have some samurai
swords at home and also I kimono. The lip sync technique
could used at this point.
I could use aftereffects to draw ninja related items
MINDMAP
RESEARCH
Watch a selection of videos to get your ideas started,
make note of a minimum of 5 – add extra slides,
screenshot the video and in bullet point note down info
in terms of camera, editing, art design, performance, etc
and how this might link to your production
Hint!
You’ve already done this in
your case study, so you can
summarise that here where
relevant
VIDEO 1 – LA MALA
ORDINA BY CLIPPING
-Different to other music videos in the genre.
-Non representative, possibly because of multiple artists
-Doesn’t focus on ego but focuses on the lyrics, lyrics on screen
- Music video not mainstream as it has an open meaning
- Clips from old crime films used in video, intextuality
-Conforms of hiphop MV convention of adult themes, police shoots
outs
-It is cut at a fast rate with the beat, extreme close ups, keeps
audience’s attention
- Lyrics on screen are an illustration, clips are an amplification
VIDEO 1 – LA MALA
ORDINA BY CLIPPING
-Fast cut montage means the video will be re-watched
- Lyrics and clips used are thematically the same as lyrics
references film making
-Clips and lyrics are sped up and words “there was an
addiction to blood” are repeated, subliminal messaging
vibe.
-could be a statement on media using propaganda
-creepy tone marketing, album comes out on Halloween
VIDEO 2- PSYCHO BY
SLOWTAI AND DENZEL CURRY
-It is a more conventional hip-hop music video.
-It representational as it has the rappers in the video
-It uses conventions from other genres
-It uses a low angle to make Slowtai and Denzel Curry seem
powerful.
-Intextuality, Music video is a homage to the movie Psycho,
black and white aesthetic, beat is similar to the knife sound
effect in the shower scene in Psycho
-Possible reference the film vertigo with the spinning
hallways
-Also reference to The Shining when Slowtai drives down the
hallways in a tricycle
-Uses footage from a concert, normally used in rock music,
can promote tours.
VIDEO 2- PSYCHO BY
SLOWTAI AND DENZEL
CURRY
-Frequent jump cuts and strobe lights reflect the rappers’
high pitch high speed, singing as well as the high energy
personalities.
-Extreme close ups of the rappers are used to create a
threatening and vulnerable tone as the close up creates
intimacy.
VIDEO 3- BACKSEAT
FREESTYLE BY KENDRICK
LAMAR
Most conventional of the three videos.
- The video has an closed meaning as the music video is
illustrative of song as both are about going to Paris and
getting money.
-the video is representative as Kendrick is shown in the
video and is mainly filmed from a low angle which makes
him seem powerful.
-Video is quite mainstream, big label, needs to appeals to
a big amount of people.
-has the hip-hop music video of voyeuristic depiction of
women
-Technique used is lip sync

[SUMMARY OF IDEAS]
MIND MAP OF IDEAS
SUMMARY
5 opportunities ideas
I will shoot in places where there isn’t many people and
are close to my house.
I will be able to control the different layers in premiere in
order have transparent videos playing over the main
video.
I will learn more about the effects features in premier
when editing the video
I gain confidence with handling a camera and preparing
camera angles.
SUMMARY
5 restrictions ideas
I will have to get enough footage for the to fit the length of
the video this will be hard to do for Maggot Brain music
video as the song is very long.
I also might not be able to get a drone shot of the forest
due to the availability of a drone.
For the music video of Foreword there will be an
inconsistently due to a change in actor as the one in need
for the driving scene cannot skate and the one I need for
the skating scene cannot drive. But the video will be more
focused on the vehicles than the people.
A lot of the video will be filmed outside so the lighting will
be hard to control and unpredictable.
FINAL IDEA –
ARTIST/TITLE/INFO
Foreword -Tyler The Creator
Brief background
American rapper, music producer and of the rap group
Odd Future.
Born in Ladera Heights 1991. Has been performing form
2007 to present.
Links to other artists
Asap Rocky, Frank Ocean, Pharrel, Jaden Smith, Odd
Future
Genre info
Popular hip-hop that uses a lot of synth and piano. His
music used to be pretty adult themed but it is now pretty
family friendly.
FINAL IDEA – TRACK
SUMMARY
Duration is about 3 minutes 15 seconds
Foreword is the first track on the album Flowerboy.
Foreword is quite a relaxed, slow paced song that is a lot
less explicit and more family friendly than others. The
synth in the also makes the song also sound quite grand.
The song is about having a lot of wealth buying so much
stuff that there is none left, this is the theme of many
hip-hop songs. However foreword has a more somber
tone as it highlights the fact that money doesn’t make
people happy and how people can get bored easily as
they always need more. The song even references suicide
at nearing the end and end how if Tyler went missing
nobody would care. However it points this out while still
maintaining a boastful and almost celebratory tone.
FINAL IDEA – YOUR IDEA
Your creative concept/video synopsis [describe your
interpretation, use of imagery or narrative, genre
conventions, etc]
The video will start with footage of somebody
skateboarding. Then a sequence of a guy buying and
driving a car and then on the words “im gone” the car
goes round a corner and there is a jump cut to a plane
flying upwards. In the plane sequence transparent money
falling and chains dangling are shown on screen. On the
line “how many chains until I’m a slave” the chains are
tightened. Nearing the end of footage of a rocket
launching. The narrative of the video is about gaining
power as the video as the vehicles increase in power as
video goes on. Also about money making people
disconnected to others which will be shown though the
video of rocket as space is far from humanity.
TASK 2 Pre-production
Assessment
GUIDANCE:
PRE-PRODUCTION
ASSESSMENT
You need to assess the viability of your production and
investigate what is required to enable you to make your
music video
Much of this task is hypothetical, which means you will
need to investigate standard costings for such a
production and apply these to your planned production
considering which equipment you would need and
resources, etc
Resources to support this are in the Pre-production
assessment folder on Blackboard
Delete the questions on each slide and insert your
responses

from your pitch]
TITLE OF
PRODUCTION/PRODUCTI
ON OUTLINE
The song I have to use is Foreword by Tyler The Creator.
The song is mostly made up of different verses and has a
chorus at the end. The mood and tone is quite grand which
complements the boastful lyrics. The pace is also quite slow
which will fit with the lengthy wide shots in plan to use. It
terms of themes the song it corresponds with that most rap
songs, acquiring wealth and power infinitely. However this
song highlights that achieving this comes at a costs as it
will change your personality and will cause you to lose
friends.
For my technical requirements I will need access to adobe
premier where I can edit the footage and add effects and
after effects where I can apply animation to the video. I will
also need somewhere I can save my footage.
For my equipment requirements I will need temporary
possession of the camera equipment (camera and tripod), I
will also need access to pound notes, a chain, actors, a
skateboard, a car.
LOCATIONS
Under the bridge that is underneath the roundabout at
York University and Newland Park Drive. The weather
maybe inconsistent which if when I shoot on different
days. Other cars may get in the way of the shot making it
less dramatic and slowing down the production. These
place are very close to my house
EQUIPMENT
What do you need? E.g. equipment, resources? Mostly
from college, but who do you need to speak to get this
kit? What is available? When?

TASK 3.1 Visual Planning
PRE-PRODUCTION:
VISUAL PLANNING
This section is concerned with the visual planning of your
music video
You should use this section to develop the sequencing or
your video, establish the relationship between the visuals
and the track itself and create a structure for you to
follow when filming
It is important that you ‘pre-visualise’ the video before
you make it; it will make filming and production a more
streamlined process
The following tasks are part of your visual planning
 Pre-visualisation and concept boards
 Storyboarding
 Shot list
PRE-
VISUALISATION/CONCEP
T BOARDS

Provides inspiration and information for the “look & feel”
Presents key moments in your video
A means to sketch/plan ideas
Information on colour/lighting
Defining the “mise-en-scene”
Include as much here as you like, but keep it relevant to the
production, the following slides have been left blank for you
to approach in your own way, add more as you need to
Extension suggestion: edit a short sequence of clips that
have inspired or influenced your video [similar to this:
http://io9.com/5941145/this-directors-video-pitch-for-
hunger-games-might-be-better-than-the-real-movie]
PRE-
VISUALISATION/CONCEP
T BOARDS
PRE-
VISUALISATION/COLOUR
LIGHTING
Colour scheme will generally consist of blue and orange.
There will be a gradient from blue to orange as the
video.
Lighting will be quite dark in the skating scene is shot
under a bridge.
I might use some motion blur and the echo video effect in
plane and rocket scene to make the video seem faster.
Motion blur will also make the shots transition smoother.
RIP-O-MATIC
You should also construct a 15-20second Rip-o-matic
test reel using existing footage to convey the type of
video you want to make
Link to the Rip-o-matic on youtube:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J2Zm3eZ5XyA
STRUCTURAL
BREAKDOWN
Breakdown your track into it basic sections [e.g. intro,
verse, chorus, verse, etc] and apply broad visual ideas to
each section
You can use this as the master template for your
production, then add more shots to each section when
you develop your full visual plan
You should create a slide showing all the sections of the
song, then add a slide for each section with timings,
lyrics, what happens and details on specific shots
You could storyboard and shot list each section as you
go, to break up the process.
STRUCTURAL
BREAKDOWN
Intro is 0.00 to 0.10 (skateboarding scene)
Verse 1 is 0.10 to 0.40 (buying car scene, driving scene,
part of airoplane scene)
Verse 2 is 0.40 to 1.01 (rest of airoplane scene, rocket
preparing scene)
Verse 3 is 1.01 to 1.31 (diving scene, part of speed boat

solutions
LOCATIONS
Newland park drive (Plan B location is Thief Lane)
This is street and is not private property so I wont need permission for filming.
However there might be problems with controlling the lighting and strangers
might get in the shot.
40 Kexby Avenue
This is my house so I wont need permission to film there. Also there is no
reason why people would get in the way of shot and I am there a lot of the time
so I will have plenty of opportunities to shoot there.
The bridge under University Road. (Plan B location is Roundtree’s Park
skatepark)
This is also a public area so I don’t need permission to film there. It is a pretty
isolated so people wont get in front of the camera. I might be too dark under
bridge though.
My Nana’s Garage on Pelican Street Wales. Belongs to my Nana so I wont need
permission to film and strangers wont get in the shot.

Mv production assignment form 2019

  • 2. GUIDANCE This template PowerPoint presentation includes all the relevant elements you need to cover in your Music Video Assignment It is suggested you save this PP in a different name and share it with your group so you always have a copy – some sections require you to delete the information on the slide and replace with your own work Add more pages to each section where necessary [you should be doing this!] Add visuals as you see necessary This document will be added to as you progress through the pre-production phase. Delete this slide when complete
  • 3. TASK 1 Idea Generation and Research
  • 4. RESEARCH & IDEA GENERATION Select a song/track that you like [or don’t like!] Generate three ideas for music videos employing styles, techniques and conventions that we have looked at in previous sessions. Explore how you could interpret the song differently using different methods You can add any extra info you think is relevant, images, mind maps, etc For quick mind maps you could use bubbl.us to generate these
  • 5. RESEARCH AND IDEA GENERATION- NINJAMAN BY NINJAMAN Song has is fairly repetitive and has a beat that is easy to cut to. Is a resent dancehall song that is quite catchy so will appeal to people aged 16-24. The even though the song is essentially about about how hard Ninjaman is, it also family friendly as he gets his point across by comparing himself to a ninja. This can be interpreted in a family friendly manner as clips from kung fu films and ninja or samurai anime such as something like Naruto. Another element would be filmed with a camera using clips I would make myself. This could work as I have some samurai swords at home and also I kimono. The lip sync technique could used at this point. I could use aftereffects to draw ninja related items
  • 7. RESEARCH Watch a selection of videos to get your ideas started, make note of a minimum of 5 – add extra slides, screenshot the video and in bullet point note down info in terms of camera, editing, art design, performance, etc and how this might link to your production Hint! You’ve already done this in your case study, so you can summarise that here where relevant
  • 8. VIDEO 1 – LA MALA ORDINA BY CLIPPING -Different to other music videos in the genre. -Non representative, possibly because of multiple artists -Doesn’t focus on ego but focuses on the lyrics, lyrics on screen - Music video not mainstream as it has an open meaning - Clips from old crime films used in video, intextuality -Conforms of hiphop MV convention of adult themes, police shoots outs -It is cut at a fast rate with the beat, extreme close ups, keeps audience’s attention - Lyrics on screen are an illustration, clips are an amplification
  • 9. VIDEO 1 – LA MALA ORDINA BY CLIPPING -Fast cut montage means the video will be re-watched - Lyrics and clips used are thematically the same as lyrics references film making -Clips and lyrics are sped up and words “there was an addiction to blood” are repeated, subliminal messaging vibe. -could be a statement on media using propaganda -creepy tone marketing, album comes out on Halloween
  • 10. VIDEO 2- PSYCHO BY SLOWTAI AND DENZEL CURRY -It is a more conventional hip-hop music video. -It representational as it has the rappers in the video -It uses conventions from other genres -It uses a low angle to make Slowtai and Denzel Curry seem powerful. -Intextuality, Music video is a homage to the movie Psycho, black and white aesthetic, beat is similar to the knife sound effect in the shower scene in Psycho -Possible reference the film vertigo with the spinning hallways -Also reference to The Shining when Slowtai drives down the hallways in a tricycle -Uses footage from a concert, normally used in rock music, can promote tours.
  • 11. VIDEO 2- PSYCHO BY SLOWTAI AND DENZEL CURRY -Frequent jump cuts and strobe lights reflect the rappers’ high pitch high speed, singing as well as the high energy personalities. -Extreme close ups of the rappers are used to create a threatening and vulnerable tone as the close up creates intimacy.
  • 12. VIDEO 3- BACKSEAT FREESTYLE BY KENDRICK LAMAR Most conventional of the three videos. - The video has an closed meaning as the music video is illustrative of song as both are about going to Paris and getting money. -the video is representative as Kendrick is shown in the video and is mainly filmed from a low angle which makes him seem powerful. -Video is quite mainstream, big label, needs to appeals to a big amount of people. -has the hip-hop music video of voyeuristic depiction of women -Technique used is lip sync
  • 13. POTENTIAL SONGS Ninjaman by Ninjaman Foreword by Tyler the creator Maggot Brain by Funkadelic
  • 14. POTENTIAL TECHNIQUES Lip sync Slow motion Green screen I could add effects in premiere such as echo or strobe lights I will probably have to speed up the Jumps cuts Transitions such as fade and dissolve Animation in after effects
  • 15. CONVENTIONS YOU PLAN TO USE Low angle looking upwards to connote strength and power for ninjaman and of the the plane in Foreword. I will also include money and gold chains in the background of Foreword. Which are present in many hip- hop videos.
  • 16. MIND MAP OF IDEAS [SUMMARY OF IDEAS]
  • 17. MIND MAP OF IDEAS
  • 18. SUMMARY 5 opportunities ideas I will shoot in places where there isn’t many people and are close to my house. I will be able to control the different layers in premiere in order have transparent videos playing over the main video. I will learn more about the effects features in premier when editing the video I gain confidence with handling a camera and preparing camera angles.
  • 19. SUMMARY 5 restrictions ideas I will have to get enough footage for the to fit the length of the video this will be hard to do for Maggot Brain music video as the song is very long. I also might not be able to get a drone shot of the forest due to the availability of a drone. For the music video of Foreword there will be an inconsistently due to a change in actor as the one in need for the driving scene cannot skate and the one I need for the skating scene cannot drive. But the video will be more focused on the vehicles than the people. A lot of the video will be filmed outside so the lighting will be hard to control and unpredictable.
  • 20. FINAL IDEA – ARTIST/TITLE/INFO Foreword -Tyler The Creator Brief background American rapper, music producer and of the rap group Odd Future. Born in Ladera Heights 1991. Has been performing form 2007 to present. Links to other artists Asap Rocky, Frank Ocean, Pharrel, Jaden Smith, Odd Future Genre info Popular hip-hop that uses a lot of synth and piano. His music used to be pretty adult themed but it is now pretty family friendly.
  • 21. FINAL IDEA – TRACK SUMMARY Duration is about 3 minutes 15 seconds Foreword is the first track on the album Flowerboy. Foreword is quite a relaxed, slow paced song that is a lot less explicit and more family friendly than others. The synth in the also makes the song also sound quite grand. The song is about having a lot of wealth buying so much stuff that there is none left, this is the theme of many hip-hop songs. However foreword has a more somber tone as it highlights the fact that money doesn’t make people happy and how people can get bored easily as they always need more. The song even references suicide at nearing the end and end how if Tyler went missing nobody would care. However it points this out while still maintaining a boastful and almost celebratory tone.
  • 22. FINAL IDEA – YOUR IDEA Your creative concept/video synopsis [describe your interpretation, use of imagery or narrative, genre conventions, etc] The video will start with footage of somebody skateboarding. Then a sequence of a guy buying and driving a car and then on the words “im gone” the car goes round a corner and there is a jump cut to a plane flying upwards. In the plane sequence transparent money falling and chains dangling are shown on screen. On the line “how many chains until I’m a slave” the chains are tightened. Nearing the end of footage of a rocket launching. The narrative of the video is about gaining power as the video as the vehicles increase in power as video goes on. Also about money making people disconnected to others which will be shown though the video of rocket as space is far from humanity.
  • 24. GUIDANCE: PRE-PRODUCTION ASSESSMENT You need to assess the viability of your production and investigate what is required to enable you to make your music video Much of this task is hypothetical, which means you will need to investigate standard costings for such a production and apply these to your planned production considering which equipment you would need and resources, etc Resources to support this are in the Pre-production assessment folder on Blackboard Delete the questions on each slide and insert your responses
  • 25. TITLE OF PRODUCTION/PRODUCTI ON OUTLINE Summary of intended production Detail here what you are going to make and the intended outcome Detailed breakdown of the music track chosen and your interpretation of it [remember the questions in the workbook, e.g. pace/mood/tone/structure] Specific outline your intended technical/equipment requirements Include any details that you think [you could use material from your pitch]
  • 26. TITLE OF PRODUCTION/PRODUCTI ON OUTLINE The song I have to use is Foreword by Tyler The Creator. The song is mostly made up of different verses and has a chorus at the end. The mood and tone is quite grand which complements the boastful lyrics. The pace is also quite slow which will fit with the lengthy wide shots in plan to use. It terms of themes the song it corresponds with that most rap songs, acquiring wealth and power infinitely. However this song highlights that achieving this comes at a costs as it will change your personality and will cause you to lose friends. For my technical requirements I will need access to adobe premier where I can edit the footage and add effects and after effects where I can apply animation to the video. I will also need somewhere I can save my footage. For my equipment requirements I will need temporary possession of the camera equipment (camera and tripod), I will also need access to pound notes, a chain, actors, a skateboard, a car.
  • 27. LOCATIONS Under the bridge that is underneath the roundabout at York University and Newland Park Drive. The weather maybe inconsistent which if when I shoot on different days. Other cars may get in the way of the shot making it less dramatic and slowing down the production. These place are very close to my house
  • 28. EQUIPMENT What do you need? E.g. equipment, resources? Mostly from college, but who do you need to speak to get this kit? What is available? When? Look at equipment hire places, etc Will need a bike or a skateboard I’m to have make sure I have pound notes buy a chain for the rocket sequence. I will probably get one from Amazon or Ebay. I will a camera with recording ability I’ll apply to get resource to rent resources from college on blackboard I might need a green screen at some point
  • 29. FACILITIES I will use Premiere Pro to edit the video. I might do some work in Adobe After Effects if needed. I will edit my video in York College on one of the Mac computers in my classroom. I will need some where to store my footage.
  • 30. PERSONNEL CREW: What is you team? Who is in it? What are each team members strengths/weaknesses? When are they available? PJ Statham (Skateboarder) available most weekends , Nick Hogg (Man paying for car) available when I’m at my house, Lorraine Fothergill (Woman receiving money) Available when I'm at my house. Justin Parsons (Man doing boxing training-hitting bag/skipping) Available over the half-term when I am at my Nana’s. Dai Parsons (Man riding bike and driving car) They are all probably work for free and are within walking distance. To get the footage
  • 31. PROPS/COSTUME/ETC PJ’s skateboard. This is actually PJ’s board so so he will bring it. If he can’t I have a skateboard for backup. Chain Pound notes Car Backup Skateboard Mountain bike or BMX Bandana
  • 32. TASK 3.1 Visual Planning
  • 33. PRE-PRODUCTION: VISUAL PLANNING This section is concerned with the visual planning of your music video You should use this section to develop the sequencing or your video, establish the relationship between the visuals and the track itself and create a structure for you to follow when filming It is important that you ‘pre-visualise’ the video before you make it; it will make filming and production a more streamlined process The following tasks are part of your visual planning  Pre-visualisation and concept boards  Storyboarding  Shot list
  • 34. PRE- VISUALISATION/CONCEP T BOARDS Tool for exploring the direction and visuals Provides inspiration and information for the “look & feel” Presents key moments in your video A means to sketch/plan ideas Information on colour/lighting Defining the “mise-en-scene” Include as much here as you like, but keep it relevant to the production, the following slides have been left blank for you to approach in your own way, add more as you need to Extension suggestion: edit a short sequence of clips that have inspired or influenced your video [similar to this: http://io9.com/5941145/this-directors-video-pitch-for- hunger-games-might-be-better-than-the-real-movie]
  • 36. PRE- VISUALISATION/COLOUR LIGHTING Colour scheme will generally consist of blue and orange. There will be a gradient from blue to orange as the video. Lighting will be quite dark in the skating scene is shot under a bridge. I might use some motion blur and the echo video effect in plane and rocket scene to make the video seem faster. Motion blur will also make the shots transition smoother.
  • 37. RIP-O-MATIC You should also construct a 15-20second Rip-o-matic test reel using existing footage to convey the type of video you want to make Link to the Rip-o-matic on youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J2Zm3eZ5XyA
  • 38. STRUCTURAL BREAKDOWN Breakdown your track into it basic sections [e.g. intro, verse, chorus, verse, etc] and apply broad visual ideas to each section You can use this as the master template for your production, then add more shots to each section when you develop your full visual plan You should create a slide showing all the sections of the song, then add a slide for each section with timings, lyrics, what happens and details on specific shots You could storyboard and shot list each section as you go, to break up the process.
  • 39. STRUCTURAL BREAKDOWN Intro is 0.00 to 0.10 (skateboarding scene) Verse 1 is 0.10 to 0.40 (buying car scene, driving scene, part of airoplane scene) Verse 2 is 0.40 to 1.01 (rest of airoplane scene, rocket preparing scene) Verse 3 is 1.01 to 1.31 (diving scene, part of speed boat scene) Verse 4 is 1.31 to1.51 (rest of speedboat scene, Chorus is 1.51 to 2.54 Outro is 2.54 to 3.14 (Rocket launch)
  • 40. STORYBOARDING Your storyboard should bring your idea to life Provide an idea of the sequencing of you video Provides a basis for production Suggested online storyboard creators are:  https://www.storyboardthat.com  http://www.pixton.com [very complicated]  http://www.storyjumper.com [allows you to insert your own images] Alternatively, hand draw or photograph your storyboard and scan or copy to insert it onto your slides There are lots of tips collected together on Blackboard!
  • 49. SHOT LIST Your shot list should contain the sequential breakdown of what you need to shoot for your video It should work in partnership with your storyboard It will be your working document when you film It should contain the shot number, scene number, shot description, framing and action you will see It should also have information on performers in the scene and other props, etc Shot list template is on Blackboard in the pre-production folder.
  • 51. PLAN B SHOTS AND SHOTS IN BACKGROUND OF MAIN SHOTS 4,5,6,12, 13 (backgrou nd shot) 2.5 minutes
  • 53. PRODUCTION GROUP INFO Name: Phone Number: Role: PJ Stateham +44 7572 273265 Guy skateboarding Nick Hogg +44 7711 769705 Guy Driving/ Car buyer Lorraine Fothergill 07526 617989 Car Seller Dai Parsons +44 7545 034289 Guy doing a wheelie Justin Parsons 07943 127648 Guy boxing/Skipping
  • 54. LOCATION INFORMATION Information and images of your location[s] for filming You should have address details, clearance/premissions for filming, recce photos and floorplans [including camera, equipment and cast/crew layouts] Where possible, have a plan B fallback location option Assess each location for any issues and suggest solutions
  • 55. LOCATIONS Newland park drive (Plan B location is Thief Lane) This is street and is not private property so I wont need permission for filming. However there might be problems with controlling the lighting and strangers might get in the shot. 40 Kexby Avenue This is my house so I wont need permission to film there. Also there is no reason why people would get in the way of shot and I am there a lot of the time so I will have plenty of opportunities to shoot there. The bridge under University Road. (Plan B location is Roundtree’s Park skatepark) This is also a public area so I don’t need permission to film there. It is a pretty isolated so people wont get in front of the camera.
