Youth Services strives to support youth socially, physically and
culturally through a wide variety of programs, services and

three geographic neighbourhoods: East End, Central-West and

Centre centrally located in Moody Park. We also have cool special

facility is unique and offer affordable

I said Canada’s game pool was recreation because it
offers indoor leisure and recreational services. The
commercial sector saw the need for leisure and recreation
services, and by giving that service to the public, they
make a profit. They have to stay up to date with trends
and fads to keep their facility going (Lunn, 2020).

group based in the Uptown area of New
Westminster, British Columbia. The Association
works closely with New Westminster Parks &
Recreation staff to run activities in Century House.
Century House was officially opened in 1958, and
the Association has been part of it all along.”

Ryall park is both Public and volunteer because it
provides a free service to the public, with
playgrounds, off roading bike area, fields, spray park
and much more for families and individuals.
It is recreational because the park provides
opportunities to those who may be less fortunate
financially (Lunn, 2020.). They might not be able to
afford the soccer lessons or gymnastics for their
children but can take their kids to the park and work
with them on their own.
