BACKGROUND
Orthonet is an acquired entity that is looking for help on the Invincea browser protection solution.
Patrick Black, CDO, has designed this AE to use our Invincea API servers within our DMZ. The
API DMZ solution has not been vetted by the security architecture team or been auditing for open
vulnerabilities. This design bypassed several groups, which warrants a major concern.
WANTS
Orthonet is looking to use our Invincea infrastructure once the API servers are setup.

A software–as–a–service model is not a desired strategic plan for several reasons. First, it puts
additional stress on internal UHG resources. The internal resources are already fully utilized, so an
additional external service model will only add major resource allocation problems. Second, the
amount of bandwidth coming into and out of the UHG environment may increase the internet cost
and decrease the productivity within the UHG environment. Internet is not cheap, so this needs to be
a factor within the overall decision. Last, the manageability of using one product for dozens of AE's
may break the purpose of the product. Any type of product inefficiency for UHG Optum will not be
acceptable, since this product was primarily purchased for internal use. This product was not meant
for multitenant environments, hence the lack of modularity within the product. Hundreds if not
hundreds of thousands of endpoints could be hitting our API servers, which was a solution not fully
endorsed by the security architecture team. There is a governance level defined within UHG that
may have been missed or not taken into account. The importance of governance allows a
fundamental framework for areas like strategy, awareness, controls, countermeasures, and policies

Design Patterns Christopher Alexander first introduced the concept of design patterns for use of
living spaces, in his book 'A Pattern Language', published in 1977 [3]. The concept of a pattern was
adopted by the software community in the book 'Design Patterns: Elements of Reusable Object–
Oriented Software', published in 1994 whose authors Gamma, Helm, Johnson, and Vlissides are

Gillette Company, well known for its mass–produced, mass–marketed products like razors, blades,

Gillette was no stranger to Europe, having marketed its goods on the continent and in Britain since
the turn of the twentieth century. It now saw the Braun acquisition as an opportunity to cover the dry

1967 grown to over 5,700 employees and operated in 144 countries, but it was too small to compete

away. For the first several years, Gillette left Braun's product strategy intact while infusing some of

Setting prices for new models of existing products, such as this year's model of a video cassette
recorder (VCR), starts with the current prices. These prices are adjusted for the features added or
dropped. For example, assume we add to the new VCR the ability to view tapes in different formats

those that eventually will be used in the new product. If the existing model uses a 1.8–liter engine

The Effect Of The Slat System Essay
In order to gauge any effects the slat system, with various weights, may have on the shock wave,
several baseline tests were run. These tests did not have the device installed in order to record and
understand the basic performance of a shock wave coming straight from the shock tube. To record
the pressure profile of the wave within the expansion section, GageScope was used. A trigger was
set to detect a rapid rise in voltage from the pressure transducer, and the program would record 1ms
before and 10ms after the trigger. The initial baseline test can be seen in Figure X below. For a
greater focus on the effects of the device on the shock wave, all charts for comparison has been
narrowed to 2ms after the trigger. The two significant runs showing the pressure profile of the shock
wave are shown in Figures X & Y.

These figures show that the pressure rises from atmospheric (0mV) to peak pressure in a rise time of
around 0.000039 seconds, or 39 µs. This is representative of a shock wave due to a nearly
instantaneous rise time. Baseline test 1 burst at 51 psi while baseline test 2 burst at 53 psi.
The initial design did not perform effectively at achieving its intended functions when installed and

Abstract:– In this paper a seven–band stacked patch antenna design for C, X and Ku band is
considered. To generate multiband frequencies micro strip stacked patch antenna is introduced. The
proposed structure is a planar structure having all the dimensions in mm and is designed by using a
substrate of FR4 having thickness 1.6 mm. This proposed antenna is having seven bands of
operation. The considered antenna consists of H–slot loaded fed patch, stacked with dual U–slot
loaded rectangular patch. The size of the antenna is 39.25 x 29.25 x 1.66 mm2. The patch antenna is
studied and simulated using IE3D simulator. The antenna is analyzed by circuit theory concepts to
practically verify the results. The results pertaining to various functional parameters of the
multiband micro strip patch antenna such as RL, Gain and Radiation pattern versus frequency are
obtained.
