2. Motivation
●
My motivation to take this class was my desire
to figure out more about technology and how it
can actually benefit me rather than hurt me.
Also a good friend of mine was signing up for it
and told me it looked like exactly what I was
looking for so I jumped on the oppurtunity.
3. Personal Learning Preferences
I scored a seven on the active scale making me very into activities that
involve me getting physically active and engaged. I believe going through
this class has not changed that at all because throughout my life I have
always been a very active person. I find it hard to stay inside and sit still
for long periods of time making doing something active seem way more
appealing to me. I then scored a seven on the intuitive scale at the
beginning of the class. I also agreed with my placement on this scale
because i enjoy innovating new things. Just as I agreed with it I believe it
never went away. I still feel the same way on this learning skill as well.
Visual scale I scored a 9 before the class and on the global I scored a 3.
Like the rest, I feel as if my learning styles didnt change over the course,
just become more apparent.
4. Thoughts on Learning Preferences

When I first started studying the learning
preferences, I thought that it was all a bunch of
scientific nonsense giving us another angle on
learning. But after a while, I realized the
learning preferences actually make a
difference. The strengths you have, give you
the best possible chance to take in the most
information possible. If you stick to your
strengths, these learning preferences can do
wonders.
5. Activities on Learning Plan

The activities I did, definitely contributed to my learning plan. In
the beginning of this class I chose a learning warrior. I chose
this because I found it very interesting all the ways technology
can benefit us. When we think of technology we think of it for
entertainment purposes only, not realizing how much it can do
for our study. I would definitely say I found a deeper value in
technology and the things it can be used for. From learning
about podcast to the things you can do on an ipad, there’s
endless technology being created every day for our benefit. I
did not change my pathway at all during this because during the
whole time I was into learning the deeper uses of technology.
6. Top 3 Technologies

There were three technologies that really stood
out to me. First, was social media. This stuck
out because I was already familiar with the tool
but I had no idea it was so useful for learning.
Second was the games. The games were a
perfect way to keep you interactive while
making you learn. The third technology were
podcast. Pod-casts are simple recorded
lessons that can help you in any subject by
giving you information just as a teacher would
in a lecture.
7. Experience

I have thoroughly enjoyed my experience
figuring out how all these technologies can
benefit me. I never knew the wide range of
options we have to make ourselves smarter.
The tools I started with and the tools I end with
are night and day and I feel like this class has
really helped me a lot. I would have never
thought of going to twitter to learn something,
but thanks to this class I know where to go if I
would want to do that!
8. Physio Factors in My Life
I changed my sleep patterns to see how that
effected my learning. I saw that when I went to
bed earlier , and woke up eating a good breakfast,
I was way more alert. When I say I was alert I just
mean everything was more clear and I could
retain more information. When I used to go to bed
late all the time I would wake up and it would take
me at least 40 minutes to fully wake up and start
my morning routine. I also changed eating habits.
My eating habits were good before I just never ate
a breakfast. By eating breakfast I no longer just
think about food 24/7 and I can focus on my work.
9. How Will I Use This Knowledge?
I believe the technology that I will continue using
outside of the class for my greatest benefit is
social media. Social media sites are starting to
take over the business world right before our
eyes. Bosses are now seen looking through
profiles and mutual friends in the hiring process
as well as service announcements being posted
for all employees to check out. With technology
moving the way it is right now, the expertise in
social media, in my opinion, will be the best way
for me to stay on top of my game with a
technology I learned here in this class.
10. Learning Warrior
●
My overall experience as a learning warrior was
an interesting to me. I definitely learned a lot
more than I thought I would at the beginning of
the year. From all the different types of
technologies you can use, to the different things
you can use them for is insane to me. Without
this class I would be far behind on my
knowledge of using technology for learning but
now I am on top of my game. Thanks
