● What motivated me to take this class was
that I love technology and when it comes to
technology I am a fast learner.
● I wanted to see what this class had to offer
in teaching me about my own learning skills.

Reflective: I scored a 5 because I like to care about the topic in order to
take the time to soak up all of the information.
Sensing: I got a 9 for sensing because i’d rather learn about facts instead
of theories. I like lessons that connects to the real world and gets straight
to the point.
Visual: This is my highest score, 11 because I understand activities and
information easier when its right in front of me. It makes everything simple
and efficient when there are pictures or diagrams.
Global: This my lowest score, 3 because I like to look at the big picture of
subjects this way its faster to come up with a solution. But I am not the best
at explaining information.
Learning Pathway
Learning Pathway Activities
● I chose the Learning Warrior Pathway because I
wanted to absorb as much information as I could
about my favored technologies.
● I didn’t get a chance to do all of the activities but
mostly introduction, metacognition, and synthesis
quests. But I did go through the mini lectures and
articles to learn about all of the topics.
Top 3 Technologies

1. Screencast
2. Microblog
3. Social Networking
Screencast
● First time learning about screencast is in this course
● It was an option for my synthesis quest presentation. I
was able to look through different websites to see
which screencast matched my learning preferences.
(but ended up using online presentation)
● Great for those who want to learn at their own paced
● Great for presentation and tutorials
Microblog
● I use Twitter on a normal basis and didn’t realize
there was a way to make it educational.
● I follow news accounts to stay updated. Good thing
about the many different twitter accounts I could
choose the topics I would like to read about. Also, I
could even search hashtags for a specific topic and
what people are saying about it.
Social Networking
● Didn’t think it could be educational
● It is simple to share information with everyone on your
social network
● I find myself clicking on articles and videos that my
friends share more often because I am now aware
that it is another form of learning.
● Builds connections with peers by gaining knowledge
about similar interests
Physiological Factors
● Now that I am aware of the physiological
factors of my body I take better care of
myself. This is because I want to be able to
stay focus and give my best performance
with everything. Learning that simply not
eating is already a distraction so now I am
more careful with my eating and sleeping
habits.
After this semester I will...
● implement my learning preferences for more efficient
studying for other courses
● remember the physiological factors of my body and how
it affects my learning
● use all of the technologies I learned about in and
outside of school. Examples:
○ iPhone for flashcards
○ microblogs for news updates etc.
Learning Warrior Experience
My experience as a learning warrior could have gone better
if I stayed on task because I missed out on many
assignments. But I was able to redeem myself by reviewing
all of the mini lectures and articles provided. I did complete
my goal of wanting to understand selected technologies to
help me in and outside of school in the future. Also, being
able to know my learning preferences help me in this
course to know how to approach certain topics and
assignments.

Learning Pathway Activities ● I chose the Learning Warrior Pathway because I wanted to absorb as much information as I could about my favored technologies. ● I didn’t get a chance to do all of the activities but mostly introduction, metacognition, and synthesis quests. But I did go through the mini lectures and articles to learn about all of the topics.

  • 8. Screencast ● First time learning about screencast is in this course ● It was an option for my synthesis quest presentation. I was able to look through different websites to see which screencast matched my learning preferences. (but ended up using online presentation) ● Great for those who want to learn at their own paced ● Great for presentation and tutorials
  • 9. Microblog ● I use Twitter on a normal basis and didn’t realize there was a way to make it educational. ● I follow news accounts to stay updated. Good thing about the many different twitter accounts I could choose the topics I would like to read about. Also, I could even search hashtags for a specific topic and what people are saying about it.

Social Networking ● Didn’t think it could be educational ● It is simple to share information with everyone on your social network ● I find myself clicking on articles and videos that my friends share more often because I am now aware that it is another form of learning. ● Builds connections with peers by gaining knowledge about similar interests
  • 11. Physiological Factors ● Now that I am aware of the physiological factors of my body I take better care of myself. This is because I want to be able to stay focus and give my best performance with everything. Learning that simply not eating is already a distraction so now I am more careful with my eating and sleeping habits.

After this semester I will... ● implement my learning preferences for more efficient studying for other courses ● remember the physiological factors of my body and how it affects my learning ● use all of the technologies I learned about in and outside of school. Examples: ○ iPhone for flashcards ○ microblogs for news updates etc.
  • 13. Learning Warrior Experience My experience as a learning warrior could have gone better if I stayed on task because I missed out on many assignments. But I was able to redeem myself by reviewing all of the mini lectures and articles provided. I did complete my goal of wanting to understand selected technologies to help me in and outside of school in the future. Also, being able to know my learning preferences help me in this course to know how to approach certain topics and assignments.
