This document outlines the publication plan for a new film magazine. It will be priced at £3.99 and distributed in supermarkets, online websites, and cinemas. The magazine will be published monthly to inform, educate, and entertain readers about films, news, actors, directors and releases. It will have a sophisticated but simple style similar to "Total Film" and "Empire" using white, black, silver and red or blue colors. Regular content will include cinema listings, releases, reviews and interviews while featured content consists of exclusive trailer photos/info and cast/crew interviews.

2. Pricing & Positioning
The price of this magazine will be around £3.99. This
is because, when comparing it to magazines such as
“Total Film” and “Empire” which are highly well
known film magazines, their pricing is very similar to
this.

3. Distribution
I intend for this magazine to be distributed at:
• popular supermarkets (as that is where the
majority of people buy there magazines)
• online websites (giving more people the
opportunity to buy the magazine as it might be
difficult to get hold of – this would be on the official
website)
• cinemas

4. Frequency of Publication &
Rationale
I would publish issues of this magazine once every
month. (This is the normal frequency of publication
for the majority of film magazines.)
The rationale for this magazine will be to
inform/educate and entertain the audience about
films (news/actors/directors/extra), as well as
promote new releases.

5. Style, Layout & Colour
So far, I am thinking of using the colours white,
black, silver and either red or blue in my magazine.
With these colours (that also link well the the genre
of our film trailer), I plan to have a sophisticated and
simple style to my magazine, similar to magazines
such as “Total Film” and “Empire” (with the title at the
top) as they are highly effective.
