Using my survey from my research and planning I decided
that my audience should be young adults aged 16 – 23 as
they were the ones who were more interested in the genre of
music that I was using. I also decided to make my magazine
more female based as from my survey I learnt that they are
more likely to buy music magazines if they were at cheap
price, rather then download them from the internet.
My target audience (young adults) are known to buy things
5) such as magazines because of who is on the front. So I decided
to put an attractive women on the front to attract both males
and females. I also mainly used the colours red and black
which are both bold colours which would draw the attention of
the target audience. I decided to make my double page spread
about an interview for the main artist tour, I chose this because
as young people they would want to going to concerts so they
may want to read about it as well and find out what may be
happening.
2. To complete this media task I had to use a variety of
technologies that I had never used before/hadn’t used for
this type of task such as;
•Photoshop – I learnt how to crop out
things from pictures that I did not want to
use, also I learnt how to separate a person
from the background in the image so that I
could just use the picture of the person.
•Survey Monkey – I learnt how to create
surveys and send them to people the gain
research and knowledge of my potential
target audience.
•Blogger – I used this to upload production
logs, pictures that I had taken and also
updated versions of work that I had done
beforehand

Looking back at my preliminary task to now finishing my final product I think
I have learnt;
•Not to use the green screen due to the green glow that appears
on the picture, which is hard to edit out.
•Always make sure you think about where to take the
pictures if I want to kee the background due to mise-
en-scene.
•How to be able to take good quality pictures
•How to fit the text around the main image and make
it look professional.
