I have more than 8 years working experience directly with the youth in Namibia, from different
background and cultures. Since I was young, I have been passionate about helping the most
disadvantaged groups, mainly the in-school youth and those in the remote areas. During those 7 years,
I was involved I’ve only been involved or employed by NGOs including volunteering. I’ve been
working for 7 years with or employed by non-governmental organizations (NGOs) focused on the
youth from different towns, namely KAYEC trust for three years, SCORE as a volunteer and 4H
Namibia. I’m currently working for a Faith Based Organization (FBO) KAYEC Trust as a youth
officer, responsible for facilitating activities with the youth, fundraising, and training community
volunteers. Currently I’m working on starting new youth groups to help address the challenges in
Kavango region. I possess strong qualities such as counseling, facilitation, youth development and
leadership skills and Excellent English communication. In addition I can communicate seven other
local languages. I have a Diploma in computer literacy (Office suite) and a certificate of photographing
and video, I‘ve also obtained a certificate of competency for a course in Assessment principles and
practices in CBET (Center for Bioscience Education & Technology) (NQF level 4-15 credits).
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
KAYEC TRUST, (January 2011 –Present)
Youth Officer, Rundu, Namibia
Train volunteers and group Leaders in my community, on how to facilitate lesions and sessions on
teenage pregnancy as well as how to use the Window of Hope manuals
Plan and preparing budgets, and keep books for encounters and camping’s/expeditions and other
related activities.
Plan, facilitate and manage the regular activities of the participants in the program.
Conduct home and school visits and discuss results with parents/guardians and /or school group
leaders issues and problems concerning the participants in the program and prepare reports on this
matter.
Perform other duties required by KAYEC Trust management council/line manager, as I’m currently
selected as the focal person for “Adolescent Reproductive Health” sessions (ARH), facilitate to
community volunteers and schools challenges that the youth are facing, such as Teenage pregnancy.
Recruit of new community volunteers, group leaders and participants from schools into the program
Liaise with principals of participating schools
Write and submit monthly/quarterly reports about the activities that took place that month in the
program and submit it to my line manager
Coordinate with various agencies, stakeholders, government and non-governmental organizations, to
tap all available resources in the community and civil society.

Every year the CCF ensures the survival of the cheetahs and other animals in the wild at the
conservation by doing an annual count, I took part in the counting of the animals.
