Key skills/competencies
• Project Coordination and Management:
I have experience in coordinating various community based projects for 8 years including
HIV/AIDS and Sexually Transmitted Infections. I have also spearheaded RH, OVC, MNCH
and Nutrition wellness programs in both the public and the private sector in Lower Eastern
Kenya, Kisii Isebania highway and Nairobi slums, HIV/AIDS programs management under
Global Fund Round 10 in Machakos County, Key Population programming in Suba district and
Nairobi slums, Youth out of Schools and Reproductive Health program management in Nairobi
slums and Marsabit Kenya,
• Monitoring and Evaluation:
I have Experience in HIV program quality improvement training, data collection, data analysis,
report writing and analytical approach. I also have experience in M&E capacity assessments
with recommendations of M&E system strengthening, reviewing of M&E plans and
performance frameworks, as well as periodic progress monitoring, data quality audits and on
site data verification for required area needs.
• Staff Supervision Skills:
I have had an opportunity to supervise staff in various departments. This includes but not
limited to supervise 8 field staff working under me in a CDC funded HIV/AIDs program in
South Nyanza, Kenya, supervise 35 sex Workers peer educators in a CDC and USAID funded
Wellness Program aimed to reach MARPS (Commercial Sex Workers, Truckers, MSMs) with
information on need based health issues, supervise 96 Community Health Workers on Global
Fund Round 10 funded HIV/AIDs program aimed at reaching People Living With HIV in
Machakos County, Kenya.
• Training Skills:
I am a certified Trainer of Trainers on topics such as HIV/AIDS, TB, STIs, Malaria,
Reproductive Health and Family Planning, Gender Based Violence (GBV), Evidence Based
Interventions (EBIs), production of Information, Education and Communications materials
(IEC) for different target populations.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
I have excellent interpersonal and communication skills such as Conflict Management as
demonstrated through my group facilitation skills, Relationship, Management, Teamwork

3. WORK EXPERIENCE

Coordinate Global fund round 10 HIV&AIDS activities targeting people living with AIDS,
ante natal mothers and girls of reproductive age in Machakos county.
Rolling out training and capacity building activities and planning quarterly, monthly and

Improve the enrolment, participation and acceptance for the deaf children under inclusive
education in the identified targeted public primary schools.
Enhance the capacity of parents to communicate with Deaf children and advocate for access
and use of community-based services.

issues of deaf children.
