SUMMARY
I am a trained teacher with over 25 years teaching experience both in secondary and
primary schools in Kenya. I am a very dedicated, hardworking, and focused and goal
oriented person capable of achieving set goals against any challenges. I have very
high levels of integrity, diligence and commitment that have enabled me to achieve
exemplary performance in many stations I have worked.
Lately, I have been training primary, secondary and institutions on motivation and
goal setting and how to improve the learner’s performance through workshops in
Funyula, Bungoma, Homabay and Runyenjes. I am also a curriculum developer, with
the Kenya Institute of Education in Life skills Education.
I have a very strong bias in Advocacy and community mobilization and development
where I have been involved in mobilizing local communities especially women and
youth to form Community Based Organizations in Busia, Elgeyo Marakwet, Bomet,
Homabay, Lamu, Embu, Machakos, UasinGishu, Taveta, Kirinyaga, Garisa, Samburu
under the Kenya women Parliamentarian Association (KEWOPA) with a view of
improving their livelihoods.
From 2008 to date, I have served as a consultant with various organizations on issues
of Gender Based Violence, Reproductive Health, Gender and Governance,
Democratization, Devolution, Gender Mainstreaming, leadership and all aspects of
our constitution. The organizations are Kenya Women Parliamentarian Association
(KEWOPA) UN Women, Shadow Parliament, Centre for Multiparty Democracy,
Maendeleo ya Wanawake among other.
I have trained a lot of women leaders on devolution and the Kenya constitution in the
following constituencies.

Gishugu, Lamu, Mbita, Siaya, Butula, Nambale, Teso South, Teso North, Budalangi,

I am also an upcoming guidance and counselling consultant in issues of family and
children, Gender Mainstreaming, Women Group Formation, Human Rights Youth
and Vulnerable Groups.
I have trained the following county assembly members on how to formulate gender
responsive policies, legislation and devolution in the past two months.

i. Founded and established Jiamini Unaweza Support Group (Community Based
Organisation) in support of People Living With HIV/AIDS and Orphans and
vulnerable children in Pangani Nairobi
ii. Founder member of Jitegemee Women Group who are involved in small scale
businesses and provision of civic education in the Kenyan Draft Constitution.
iii. Children and Women Rights Activist and a facilitator with Kenyan Women
Parliamentarian Association (KEWOPA) on issues of Constituency
Development Fund, gender based violence, prevention and response framework
for gender based violence, women and leadership, devolved governance and our
Kenya constitution.
iv. Founded Professional Kenyan Ladies Sounds Choir which is involved in the
entertainment during public occasions such as Wedding Celebrations, Public
Holidays and Cultural festivals
v. Founded Sibina A.C.K E.C.D Centre which is now Sibina Academy School with
