explicit, stated needs of students and demonstrated best practices
• Plan and execute Family Weekend with one additional team member,
resulting in record numbers of 350 attendees and innovative and
engaging programming that attendees return to for multiple years
• Serve as advisor to the Hispanic Student Association and leadership
• Begin a chapter of the national honor society Tau Sigma for transfer
students and advise the chapter and leadership

• Coordinated with local organizations for health, sexual disease, and
alcohol/drug rehabilitation interventions for youth. Identified
community health and education resources for youth as needed
• Delivered individualized, in-home English lessons for several camps of
migrant farmworker youth with groups ranging from one to 15
students at all levels of English
