1. STRENTHS
Doing analysis of other scripts meant I knew how
to layout the script
I could email my script to my client so they could
give me feedback so I would know the final
productwould fit their brief
When writing my shooting script, I could look at
my scriptI had previously written to help me
breakdown the shots to go with the dialogue and
who it is coming from.
WEAKNESSES
Ittook me longer than expect to write my first
draftof the scriptmeaning it took time away from
the shooting scriptwhich I found more
challenging to write
Because I plan on using lots of montage sections
in my film to show time passing, I’mnot
completely set on how long each shotwill be
depending on whatmy actors do therefore I
found planning how long the shots will be difficult
on the shooting script.
OPPORTUNITIES
The opportunity to write an industry standard
scriptmeans that in the future I will understand
how a script should be set out and completed if
the skillis ever needed
My client was quick to respond to my questions
and give me their suggestions for changes
therefore I could get on efficiently and wasn’t
waiting for their thoughts.
THREATS
Due to commitments I have with other subjects I
missed a day of schoolwhen I would have had a
large amount of time to work, I also haveto give a
lot of my free periods at schoolbecauseof this,
giving less time outside of lessons to work.
During lesson time I may not havealways been as
productiveas I could have been due to
distractions in the roomsuch as friends.
