Analysis
Vampire Weekend is an American Indie rock
band from New York City, formed in 2006.
They are currently signed to XL Recordings.
The band consists of lead vocalist and guitarist
Ezra Koenig, guitarist/keyboardist and
backing vocalist Rostam Batmanglij, drummer
and percussionist Chris Tomson and bassist
and backing vocalist Chris Baio. The band
released its first album Vampire Weekend in
2008, The band's second album, Contra, was
released in 2010. Their third studio album,
Modern Vampires of the City, was released on
May 14, 2013, winning them a Grammy
Award for Best Alternative Music Album in
2014.

making it look simple yet

homepage, it is very
simply laid out and easy
to understand/use it
features videos from the
new album getting
straight to the point of
the music.

The same background
and colour scheme
continues onto the next
page. Once again the
newest music video is
shown.
Below this on the page
is the dates of tours for
the band so fans know
where to find the band.
The font is white and
very simple making it
easy to read.
4. Shop Page
The shop pages sells a range
of merchandise for fans and
shows a ‘free shirt’
competition at the top in
bold red and yellow making
it stand out against the black
background.
This page also sells all the
bands albums so far. You
will notice the bands
name ‘vampire weekend’
is always shown in the
same white capitalized
font making it
recognisable to the fans.
5. Live Page
At the top of the Live
page is buttons to dates
of tickets, checkout,
privacy and questions.
Below this are a list
of dates for the tour
however at this
moment the band
is not touring and
these are past dates.
6. Contact page
The contact page includes all the information on how as a fan or a
business person to get in touch with band or their management.
7. Lyrics Page
The lyrics page shows the lyrics to some of the songs from the band using a white
font following the theme of the website.
8. Twitter and Tumblr
The website also has a link to the
bands social media including
their twitter page and a Tumblr
page.
The Tumblr page
follows the same
theme as the
website and
including pictures of
the band and fan
made pictures.
