Summary:
Personality is the sum total of ways in which an individual reacts to and interacts with others is called
personality of a person. When we talk about the personality we don’t means a person has charm, a
positive towards life or a smiling face. It is all about the ways of interaction and reaction in any situation.
It is the combination of both hereditary and environmental factors.
Myers-Briggs type indicator (MBTI) is the most widely used personality assessment instrument in the
world. Personality is assessed by asking 100 questions about the reaction in some particular situations.
Basically it is a test that taps four characteristics and classifies people into 1-16 personality types. On the
result individuals are classified in the following categories:
Extraverted (E) they are outgoing and sociable versus Introverted (I) they are quite and shy.

Thinking (T) they use reasons and logics versus feelings (F) they are emotional and have values.
