Broadway from Claywell to Austin Highway.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION
• On July 25, 2018, the City received three bids for the
2018 SMP
• Lowest bid for the SMP was under budget by $400,000
• Three companies that specialize in this type of service
were asked to submit a proposal to restripe Broadway
from Claywell to Albany as well as Albany to Austin
Hwy.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Three proposals were received:
• Flasher Equipment Co. – Total $26,272
• $15,507 for the section of Broadway, Claywell to Albany
• $10,765 for the remainder from Albany to Austin Hwy
• Interstate Barricading and Markings Inc. – Total $33,175
• $20,125 for the section Broadway, Claywell to Albany
• $13,050 for the remainder from Albany to Austin Hwy
• American Signal Co. – Total $43,931
• $25,994 for the section of Broadway, Claywell to Albany
• $17,937 for the remainder from Albany to Austin Hwy.

FISCAL IMPACT
• Flasher Equipment Co. had the lowest proposal at
$26,272 which is recommended.
