The fire suppression system consists of a detection system with smoke detectors that trigger an alarm if two detectors are activated. This leads to a timer that discharges gas from cylinders if the fire is not put out within a minute. The extinguishing system includes cylinders of FM200 gas that ruptures via a solenoid valve and fills the area through piping and nozzles to extinguish the fire. Once the fire is out, the area simply needs ventilation for the FM200 gas to dissipate, allowing production to resume quickly after cleaning and checks.
