Project-1 Design of Hydraulic Charge Pump Assembly
Description: The scope of the project involves design of “Hydraulic Charge Pump Assembly”
which meets functional performance requirements & space claim requirements. The charge pump
assembly to be designed so as to be removable and replaceable as a single unit by unbolting the
adaptor plate from the hydraulic reservoir on which assembly will be mounted.

• System & LRU specification preparation
• Selection of LRUs suitable for requirement
• Performance study of LRU as a part of system
• Proposal of concept layouts

Project-2 Tolerance Stack-up Analysis
Description: The scope of the project involves tolerance stack-up analysis for wing assembly of
Light Combat Aircraft
Responsibilities Delivered:
• Study the available inputs (out board slat assembly, nose box assembly)
• Identification of sections (stacks) to be analysed and check for applicable areas
• Study of standard for different manufacturing processes
• Analysis of identified stacks with manual calculations (MS excel) for worst case and RSS
methods
• Analysis of these stacks using tolerance analysis software (CETOL)
• Comparison of results from excel and CETOL and modify the tolerance values
• Apply GD&T according to tolerances values modified
• Prepare report for the analysis at different locations showing the results and modified values
• Apply GD&T according to functionality required
Project-3 Design of Retractable Landing Gear System for 2.4 tonne UAV
Description: The scope of the project involves design and development of Landing Gear system
for 2.4 tonne UAV that includes Shock absorption, Retraction, Steering and Breaking systems
Responsibilities Delivered:
• Involved in disposition of wheels per stability, maneuvering and loading considerations
• Generation of Ground loads per FAR & MIL-A-8862 selection of strokes, Reaction factors and
tyres
• Design of retraction and door kinematics to optimize loads on Retraction actuator and various
kinematics members
• Calculation of Brake energy and power estimation for steering, braking and retraction systems
• Generation of top level specifications for braking, steering and retraction systems including
Landing gear hydraulic system
• Design of Shock absorption system (MLG) per MIL-L-8552, which includes
• Design of Gas curve
• Design of piston considering gas curve, ground loads, provision for charging valve and other
interfaces
• Selection of static and dynamic seals and design of glands for various interfaces per MIL-G-5514
• Design of Barrel considering ground loads, piston, seals and various interfaces
• Design of axle housing and toggle links against ground loads
• Design of orifice nut, separator & recoil damper
• Design of Retraction actuator per MIL-PRF-5503 considering door, aerodynamic,
retraction/extension, Inertial & locking loads, seals and end connections
• Involved in selection of system architecture for the Landing gear system including emergency
extension and emergency braking system
• Modeling, Assembly and drafting of above designed parts in CATIA V5
• Involved in drafting of above parts with GD&T in compliance to manufacturing, assembly and
inspection
Project-4 Kinematic & Force analysis for NLG of HBCs H800 aircraft
Description: Kinematic analysis and Force analysis of Nose landing gear (NLG) retraction
mechanism to determine the force available at NLG doors and drag brace kinematic elements to
extend from retracted and locked position and to find reasons for failure of Landing gear
extension
Responsibilities Delivered:
• Free Body Diagram creation for the 2D and 3D mechanism
• Analytical Force analysis using MS Excel
• Correlation of Force Analysis using ADAMS and Analytical calculation methods
• Position Analysis to analyze the Forces at various extension angles from the retracted position
• Analysis of the effect of Frictional resistances on Key Joints with Spherical bearings.
• Force Analysis Report preparation with force analysis results on each member of the Nose
Landing Gear and frictional effect at each joint
• Validation report for the test results provided by customer
Challenges/Highlights:
• The up and down locking is by single cam an roller mechanism in brace and mathematical
modeling the intricate mechanism
• Mathematic Modeling of the retraction kinematics with multi-bar mechanism
• Simulation of effects of friction
• Simulation of effects of rigging procedure on the link loads
Project-5 Creation of Excel tool for generation of Ground Attitude Parameters for a
Given CG envelop for Levered suspension aircraft
Description: Carry out study to determine the vertical reactions and displacements for each
landing gear in the aircraft static 1g positions for various loading cases as per the CG envelope
given by the customer and develop an excel tool that provides ground attitude parameters
defining pitch and roll of an aircraft on ground
Responsibilities Delivered:
• Study of inputs
• Generation of attitude parameters as a reference ground plane at zero load condition
• Setting up of solution procedure for the 1g load case in terms of loads and deflections of shock
absorbers
• Iterating the same procedure until the position of the ground contact points does not vary with
the change in loads on landing gears due to lateral moment of the wheel axel.
• Development of excel tool for the above calculations
• Report preparation with output parameters at various load cases
Challenges/Highlights:
• Solution for the above problem in 3D involved solving of vector equations
Project-6 Schneider Electric
Description: The scope of the project involves working on Electric components of Schneider
electric, complying with the required standard processes
Responsibilities Delivered:
• Working on SHEET METAL, STANDARD and ASSEMBLY MODULE
• Creating Detailed Drawings in Pro-E WF 5.0/ Cero-Elements
• Part modelling, Sheet Metal and detailing of the Electrical parts to match as per input using Pro
Engineer Creo, Inventor & AutoCAD
• Involved in Part modeling of components.
• Assembly Creation and detailing, BOM table Generation and ballooning.
• Final Quality checking of drawing and delivering to clients.
• Raising queries in case of assembly mismatch and providing best feasible solutions.
• Completion of the deliverables on time and documentation
Project-7 ATK - Tooling, Concession
Description: The scope of the project involves design of tools for manufacture of composite
parts like frames, stringers for A350-1000.
Responsibilities Delivered:
• Design model of different parts in GSD module Catia V5 as per the requirements.
• Create drawings for these parts
Project-8 Spirit – Fixed brackets A350-1000
Description: The scope of the project involves providing design solutions for installation
different types of brackets for a given environment of A350-1000 aircraft.
Responsibilities Delivered:
• Provide design solutions for different types of brackets in fuselage.
• Create installation drawing for these brackets.
• Use of VPM, Primes and PDM for interfacing the CAD data.
Project-9 Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd(MHI) - MRJ90 & MRJ70
Description: The scope of the project involves creation of ADM, IDM, DDM for MRJ90 &
MRJ70 Mid Fuselage area components like frames, stringers, skin panels, panel brackets, skin
splice, stringer splice etc
Responsibilities Delivered:
• Creation of ADM, IDM, DDM sample models by use of MBD module.
• Study of various types of fasteners and rivets involved
• Identifying areas for applying sealants & shims type of seals & shims and creation of the
same.
• Deciding part notes and flag notes for different components.

Project-5 Creation of Excel tool for generation of Ground Attitude Parameters for a Given CG envelop for Levered suspension aircraft Description: Carry out study to determine the vertical reactions and displacements for each landing gear in the aircraft static 1g positions for various loading cases as per the CG envelope given by the customer and develop an excel tool that provides ground attitude parameters defining pitch and roll of an aircraft on ground Responsibilities Delivered: • Study of inputs • Generation of attitude parameters as a reference ground plane at zero load condition • Setting up of solution procedure for the 1g load case in terms of loads and deflections of shock absorbers • Iterating the same procedure until the position of the ground contact points does not vary with the change in loads on landing gears due to lateral moment of the wheel axel. • Development of excel tool for the above calculations • Report preparation with output parameters at various load cases Challenges/Highlights: • Solution for the above problem in 3D involved solving of vector equations Project-6 Schneider Electric Description: The scope of the project involves working on Electric components of Schneider electric, complying with the required standard processes Responsibilities Delivered: • Working on SHEET METAL, STANDARD and ASSEMBLY MODULE • Creating Detailed Drawings in Pro-E WF 5.0/ Cero-Elements • Part modelling, Sheet Metal and detailing of the Electrical parts to match as per input using Pro Engineer Creo, Inventor & AutoCAD • Involved in Part modeling of components. • Assembly Creation and detailing, BOM table Generation and ballooning. • Final Quality checking of drawing and delivering to clients. • Raising queries in case of assembly mismatch and providing best feasible solutions. • Completion of the deliverables on time and documentation Project-7 ATK - Tooling, Concession Description: The scope of the project involves design of tools for manufacture of composite parts like frames, stringers for A350-1000. Responsibilities Delivered: • Provide design solutions for different types of brackets in fuselage. • Create installation drawing for these brackets. • Use of VPM, Primes and PDM for interfacing the CAD data. Project-9 Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd(MHI) - MRJ90 & MRJ70 Description: The scope of the project involves creation of ADM, IDM, DDM for MRJ90 & MRJ70 Mid Fuselage area components like frames, stringers, skin panels, panel brackets, skin splice, stringer splice etc Responsibilities Delivered: • Creation of ADM, IDM, DDM sample models by use of MBD module. • Study of various types of fasteners and rivets involved • Identifying areas for applying sealants & shims type of seals & shims and creation of the same. • Deciding part notes and flag notes for different components.
