1) Name of the project : Hydraulic External gear pumps and motors for fire
extinguisher vehicle
Brief description of the project :
Design Support of Hydraulics external gear pump as per the customer requirement
and Design support of two gear motors for to actuate water pumps and air
compressor in fire extinguisher vehicle.

2) Name of the project: Hydraulic external gear motors for soil compactor.
Brief description of the project :
Design support on two external gear motor for to drive the drum of the soil
compactor and another two external gear motors to rotate the vibrating rollers.
Responsibilities
• To understand the application and design requirements. detailed Engineering
design with calculations like suction velocity with respect to the required
speed, bearing loads, torque requirement for pump, torque output from
motors, loads on gear shaft, loads on coupling, pressure requirement for the
application, tolerance calculation for the pump or motor assembly etc.
• Create manufacturing drawings for all the components.
• Component selection ex. Seals, bearings, end cover and integral valve etc.
• To create the parts lists of the pump and motors which are to be included in
the SAP.
• To create the offer drawing and mockup model of pumps and motors.
3) Name of the Project: Fuel Filter Pressure pulsating Test Bench.
Brief description of the project:
The purpose of test is to determine the Mechanical resistance of the fuel filters body
to pulsating pressure which occurs during the service condition.
Standard: ISO 4020-2001
Test Bench Technical requirements:
• Pressure pulsating range:
Maximum Pressure- 14±0.2 bars: It will vary based on filters
Minimum Pressure - 1±0.2 bars
• Pulsation Frequency: Max. 10 Hz: It will vary based on filters specification
• Oil Used : MG SAE 30
• Oil Temperature range : 80ºC±10ºC
• Number of cycles: Max. 2 million
Responsibilities
• To understand the application and design requirements. detailed Engineering
design with calculations
• To calculate the required flow rate, system pressure, Power losses, heat
generation and heat dissipation through the system, Tank sizing, fluid
velocity etc.
• Design of hydraulic circuit for the complete application.
• Selection of all hydraulic products like Pumps, valves, heat exchangers,
filters, piping, hoses etc.
• Design of power pack, Manifold and test bench structure and assembly
• Development of pulse generating unit (Rotary valve), Concept design and
optimization
• Co-ordination with the simulation team to verify the Rotary valve using
AMEsim software.
• Selection of components (Bearings and seals) for Rotary valve and selection
of material, manufacturing and heat treatment process for manufacturing
parts.
• Providing manufacturing drawings of Manifold, Tank, Rotary valve
components etc.
• Design of hydraulic circuit and selection of components to test and validate
the Rotary valve.
• Co-ordination with the customers and vendors.
• To integrate the Rotary valve in to test bench and to validate the test bench

Electric Arc Furnace (EAF), Ladle Refining Furnace (LRF),Furnace Tilting
Forward/Backward, Castor includes Withdrawal, Dummy Bar Entry, and Pinch Roll,
Hot rolling, Cold rolling, mandrel handling applications,
2) Name of the project: Hydraulic Power Pack and Cylinder for Governor Control
of Hydro Turbine.
Brief description of the project :
This Project is for hydraulic power units for Governor control of Kaplan Turbine.
Includes MIV- Main Inlet Valve opening/ closing, Guide vane Control, Runner Blade
Control, Butterfly valve opening/closing, Brake applications.
Responsibilities
• Design calculations.
• Frequent discussion with circuits and BOM preparation team to improve the
quality of the circuit design and to optimize it for particular requirement
• Design of Hydraulic Reservoir, Manifolds, Hydraulic Power Packs & valve
stands, accumulator stands, based on customer inputs like Area availability,
mounting detail, operating and maintenance flexibility etc.
• Creation of general assembly drawings.
• Creation of manufacturing drawings for manifolds, Reservoir, Valve stands
frames etc.
