develop method to establish contact area accurately.
Objective: To determine the contact stress between gear pairs in assembly to
determine contact area, pressure, wear, and fatigue life
Determine exact contact area using sub-modelling method.
Difference between pressures obtained by FEA with and without sub modelling is quite
large!! As seen in the graphs.
