Project Description:
Scope of the project is to mesh the standard Frame as per the weld criteria
requirement of Caterpillar standards. FEA model was created with the hex-mesh,
shell-mesh as well as the tetra mesh and embedding wherever required. G-load
cases are prepared for LCF and HCF and stresses are compared with Endurance of
the weld and parent material, Yield limits and modal analysis of the structure and
studying the mode shapes of the first 10 modes. After structure is passing necessary
criteria results were shared with the client through final report preparation.

Scope of the project is to perform FEA-modeling for 793F_Truck meshing1D, 2D, 3D,
(Shell coating Pay Load) and to maintain weld splits as per CAT standards. Quality
was done as per the Caterpillar standards in the series (773F, 774F, and 777F)

Centre of excellence project from Caterpillar. Scope of work is to perform the BJA
meshing (cone of compression) for the 10 bolts of different diameter which supports the
bracket attached to the hydraulic tank by creating the contacts between the bolt-head
and washer as well as the abutments and applying the pretension at the shank region
for probing the stress. To run the modal analysis of the structure and studying the mode
shapes of the first 10 modes and connection.
