To obtain a challenging position in the field of Aircraft Structural Engineering where my training
and experience in development and design will be asset.
Professional Experience
• Stress Engineer (Aerolia Canada, Consultant) 02/2012 to 12/2014
- Stress Analysis (Composite and Metallic) of various Fuselage components for
Global 7000/8000 Program (Bellyfairing, Keel Beam, Emergency Door, Sills,
Root Frames and Intercostals).
- System Brackets.
- Weight saving proposals and presentations.
- Detailed analysis using traditional Airbus methodology - FEM load extraction.
- Generation of Stress Reports.
• Stress Engineer (Jetaviation, Basel, Switzerland ) 03/2009 to 07/2011
- Stress analysis of monuments (installations and assemblies) for custom interior
completion of Airbus 340/300 and 340/600.
- Stress analysis of floor structure and upper attachments for Airbus 340.
- Drafting of design compliance and stress reports for aircraft interior certifications.
• Stress Engineer-MRB (Bombardier, Canadair, Canada) 03/2008 to 03/2009
- Substantiation of repair designs of primary and secondary aircraft structures,
including fuselage, cockpit and empennage (Static & Fatigue Analysis).
- Investigation of urgent technical problems (e.g. manufacturing or production
defects) and recommendation of corrective action in a timely manner.
- Stress Analysis of various Cockpit components (Stringers, Frames, Joints and
Bulkhead).
- Damage Tolerance Analysis
- Generation and checking of Stress Reports.
• Stress Engineer (Bombardier, Completion, Montréal, Canada) 01/2006 to 02/2008
- Analysis of monuments (installations and assemblies) for Global XRS interiors.
- Drafting of design compliance and stress reports for aircraft interior certifications.
- Support for primary structure and interior modification design of the Global XRS.
- Standardization of Finite Element Modeling by developing a new methodology:
a- Cabinet Assembly in Catia V5 is transformed in Mid Surfaces and Point
Attachments accurately and finally exported to Patran.
b- FEM Model is created in Patran accurately and quickly.
c- Stress report is standardized by using Patran Post processor and Visual Basic.
2. • Research Associate at Centre de Recherche Appliquée sur les Polymères, CRASP
(Project from Seawind Aircraft Company, Quebec, Canada) 04/2004 to 05/2005
- Stress analysis of glass-fiber-reinforced vinylester composite laminates (Hand
Calculation and FEM using ANSYS).
- Collaborated with the CRASP team in the characterization and certification process
of new low-cost Seawind aircraft composite material according to Transport Canada
and FAA recommendations.
- Carried out experimental studies of the mechanical behaviour of bonded composite
joints for Seawind Company.
• Independent Business Owner/Operator (Algeria) 06/1996 to 12/2001
Tasks:
- Management and training of employees
- Sales and Repair of Automobile tires
- Balance and alignment of wheels
Skills
