2. INTRODUCTION
A network topology is the arrangement of a network,
including its nodes and connecting lines.
The physical topology of a network is actual the
geometric layout of workstation.

3. STAR TOPOLOGY
It is one of the most common computer topology.
In its simplest form, a star network consists of one
central hub which acts as a conduit to transmit
messages.
In star topology, every host is connected to a central
hub.
4. RING TOPOLOGY
In a ring topology, each nodes is connected to two
different.
It gives the appearance of a ring where the computers
are arranged in a circular manner.
Data travels from node to node , with each node along
the way handling every packet.
This configuration has at least
three nodes.
.
5. BUS TOPOLOGY
A bus topology is a topology in which all nodes are
directly connected to a common linear half-duplex link
called a bus.
This central cable or bus runs along the entire
network.
Any computer in the network can access and get
information that goes through the
bus.
