physiology. It covers fundamental aspects of cells and tissues, essential body systems, and
more complex concepts related to the function and structure of the human body. The course
also includes practical demonstrations to provide students with a hands-on understanding of
the subject.
B. COURSE OBJECTIVES:
1. Recall the basic terminology and concepts related to human anatomy and physiology including
structures and functions of different organ systems.
2. Understand the relationship between various body systems and their contribution to the overall
functioning of the human body.
3. Apply knowledge of human anatomy and physiology to identify the structures and functions of
different organ systems and relate this understanding to their interconnections.
4. Analyze the mechanisms of different body functions such as digestion, excretion, respiration, and
more to gain a deeper understanding of human physiology.
5. Evaluate the significance of body fluids, electrolyte balance, and homeostasis in maintaining the
health and wellbeing of the human body.
