PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Bombardier Aerospace México S.A. de C.V. June 2013 – Present
CAM (Computer Aided Manufacturing)
I am responsible of giving tech support to manufacturing equipment and ensure proper operation through
maintenance plans and continuous improvement for all manufacturing sites in Mexico.
Currently I am in charge of three projects:
o Autoclave. I am the leader from IT to implement an Autoclave in the composites
manufacturing area which will reduce the production time and increase the quality of the
composite material products.
o Customer Satisfaction. The purpose of this project is to create a customer survey for the
IT department. The survey will be created with a tool call SERVQUAL which will help to
create action plans that will in turn improve the quality of services. I am leading this
project.
o Windows 7. As the responsible of this Project the target is to upgrade the operative
system of all the manufacturing computers installed in Bombardier Mexico in order to
prevent production line halts.
I implemented two ideas in the electrical harnesses building that created savings of around
$15,000.00 by the end of the year.
I used TPM to implement an improvement (Total Preventive Maintenance) in the wiring area
that led to company savings of around $5,000.00 USD per year in label printers preventive
maintenance plans.
I supported the creation of manufacturing processes along with Logistics, Methods and Quality
teams which allowed to have a better traceability of the composites material lifetime and
avoid waste.
I developed scripts (AutoIT y VBScripting) in order to reduce the time delivery of computers from
8 to 2 hours reducing halts in the production lines.
I was the technical leader for the project called “Manufacturing Equipment Integration” which
allowed the Company to get savings between 50% and 100% of the total cost of maintenance
support policies in some of the manufacturing systems.
Support Analyst June 2008 – May 2013
I am responsible to resolve all incidents submitted to my group based on a defined SLA.
I standardized the support model for these manufacturing systems: Ovens systems to cure
composite material, laser projection systems, electrical wiring test system in harnesses area,
composite material cutting machines and wire cutting machines.
I resolved around 500 incidents per year with a productivity of 94%.
I generated savings by $15,000.00 USD pear year with the restructuring of services and
change of plans as responsible for mobile telephony for the site.
I was the administrator of Mexico users in the BES platform (BlackBerry Enterprise Services).
2. Mission Hills S.A. de C.V. May 2005 – June 2008
Manufacturing Engineer Support
I was responsible to provide support to all in house applications in the shop floor such as Shop Floor Reporting,
BackUp Application, App Production and also update Oracle tables.
I solved an average of 100 incidents per year with a productivity of 97%.
For two years in a row I obtained the recognition of the best performing Support Engineer by
solving all incidents assigned to me on time and having good decision-making under pressure.
Distribuidora de Comunicación S.A. de C.V. September 2002 - May 2005
Systems Support
I was responsible of providing technical support to commercial and local applications and supporting the databases
in Progress Software.
I developed routines and new procedures in 4GL Progress Software to maintain or update an
application call SINTOPAD.
I implemented upgrades to the storage module in order to improve application performance
reducing in 50% the loading time and also accelerated the monthly Finance close.
