Reviewed production data for all existing products which including engineering drawing, operations,
material costs, etc.
Assisted in modifying data error from engineering change, supply-chain variation and out-source
adjustment.
Created Bill of Material (BOM) and Method of Manufacturing (MOM) model formats for system
update which could be applied as new standards in future and increase manufacturing capacity over
10%.
2. Production Line Optimization and Simulation.
Calculated Production capacity and estimated Machine Utility.
Constructed simulation models of production lines with Pro-model to facilitate decision making of
increasing production capacity.
Increased more than 10% of the facility space utilization and save at least 35% of material handling
cost.
3. Created a What-if analysis to realize production resources optimization.
Designed a set of algorithms to help production manager make decision on whether to buy a Mill-
CNC and a Lath-CNC machine to increase production capacity, or outsource a component package
to satisfy the growing customer orders. Algorithms showed outsourcing the component package was
better option, which could save at least 15% in total cost.
2. 4. Inventory management for a new type of Product.
Invented a component library for new parts, increasing production preparation efficiency over 20%.
This comprehensive library decreased the expenditure of fastening and fitting over 30% by better
