MRP means Materials Requirement Planning. MRP is a time-phased computer program which translates finished product into raw materials , parts or sub-assemblies and work backward by the lead time to give the information from which time you have to start your work to finish the final product. There are many software to construct MRP. Basically it is constructed by the companies for their own reason. But the MRP system that we have developed in Microsoft Excel by using VBA. VBA means visual basic for application. It is programming system in excel. There are 9 products that we have developed for constructing MRP. It can be customized for other product by following the program. The person who has simple knowledge in excel can use it easily. It detects error when you will input invalid data. So, it is user-friendly. Limitation: 1. The maximum delivery week no is 100. 2. Only two ordering techniques have been developed. 3. In master production schedule, only one data can be given at a time.

Limitations

16. An inventory management system becomes
costly for the computer functioning calculation.
The Microsoft excel is very common one that is
used in the normal days. As the program is
completely done in excel, this can be used in
every official or non-official production farms in
the world. The most tempted part is using and
unmistakable data giving that makes the program
more user friendly. With a simple knowledge in
excel, anyone can operate the system on their own
hands.
