1. School Magazine
Target Audience Profile: My target audience are typical 16-19 year olds who enjoy
partying on a Saturday and who are currently unemployed. The magazine is for both male
and females as a magazine aimed only at females for example would not appeal to my
audience.
In their spare time, they enjoy shopping for new clothes. Their favourite shops include, New
Look, River Island, Bershka and Topman. They also enjoy sports and leisure, for example
netball, football and basketball. When they are doing none of the above and need to revise for
a particular subject, they spend their time in the local library which shows serious
commitment and true dedication.
The personality of my audience is confident, hardworking in school, but also quite loud. They
enjoy going out with their mates as well, which is typical of 16-19 year olds. Although, they
are all the things of the above, they are also committed and dedicated in their work and love
to show compassion and are truly driven in their work, which is expected of a 16-19 year old.
They are currently in full-time education, showing that they are truly determined to continue
with their studies and eventually carry on to university.
This magazine will help them to realise how good the school is and will help them will any
help or advice they need, for example going to university which is a big decision for 18 year
olds and extra-curricular activities which appeal to all.
