The document summarizes a study on privacy attitudes and user acceptance of intelligent transportation systems. The study involved interviews with 23 visually impaired individuals in Sweden about their mobility needs, views on technology and privacy. The results showed that while technology is seen as beneficial, privacy is a complex issue involving trust, control and autonomy. Respondents had mixed levels of trust in government and companies handling personal data. The proposed navigation system was viewed as very beneficial but with a neutral impact on privacy. Next steps include broader online surveys and interviews to understand privacy attitudes regarding other transportation technologies.
