Gas Turbine Mechanical Supervisor, 2006-2012
6 years in Navy while serving in current role mentoring, training, and supervising technicians
conducting preventive and corrective maintenance on gas turbine and gas generator engines,
troubleshooting, fuel oil service and transfer systems, gas turbine generator sets, and associated
support equipment.
Key Achievements:
▪ Emergency repaired and replaced 1B GTM lube oil scavenge and supply pump and replaced
1 GTG shear pins. This resulted in the rapid restoration of the 2 vital engine which enabled
the ship to maintain 100% engineering readiness.

during SRA-08, working countless hours repairing jobs assigned in ships backlog.

maintained over 300 gages for EM02 workcenter. Install, test and repair field
instrumentation, such as gauges, sensors, indicators and automatic control valves.

oil purifier.

▪ Propulsion Auxiliary Control Console qualified. Responsible for the correct operation and

• Inspect and examine machinery and equipment to detect and investigate irregularities and
malfunctions.
• Inspect, service and repair components of the water treatment plant including water intakes,
pipes, water storage vessels, chemical treatment equipment controls,circulation pumps,heat
exchangers and valves
• To perform and participate in the preventive, corrective and troubleshooting mechanical
maintenance activities of the plant equipment including gas turbines, hydraulic system components,
low pressure air compressors, reduction gear clutching assemblies.

and auxiliary power.
