of Gas Turbine of MR/PR compressor 36-KT001/004 & 46-KT001/004 during machine
online for facilitating the De Fog arrangement by avoiding vendor (Donaldson)
assistance/services and benefited to the company by saving hiring cost of 350000 USD in
2009
• Successfully initiated, managed and completed the modification & installation of air inlet
hoods for 15th
row in Air Intake Filter House of Gas Turbine for MR/PR compressor 56-
KT001/004 & 56-KT001/004 during machine online. It was a challenging task due to high
vacuum and difficulties the personal entry into filter house with material handling in 2012.
And also avoiding vendor assistance and saving hiring expenses.
• Successfully initiated, investigated and fixed the long term running problem in
sealing/cooling air fans of HRSG Boiler 91-B001-K001AB discharge line expansion
bellows which were rupturing during startup only after every replacement. The countless
replacements had been done since commissioning of boiler and due to no stock the damaged
bellows were being used with temporary repair and a minor leak since 2 years. The problem
fixed permanently in 2011 by replacing the material and mounting arrangement by arranging
from local market in lowest price and benefited to company by process/safety and cost
optimization.
• Initiated and proposed the method of repair and reuse the damaged sea water strainers and
avoiding replacement of 64 strainers and benefited to the company by cost and time
optimization. And also the special tool/fixtures designed and fabricated to maintain accuracy
during repair.
• Initiated and replaced the damaged metallic suction and discharge hoses of liquid Nitrogen
transfer pump 96-Y062-P061A (pump-A out of order, standby pump-B running
continuously since longtime) by finding out method of fabrication the single/double braided
metallic hose, sourcing and arranging the required components and fabrication experts from
local industries, avoided procurement time/expenses and benefited to company with
time/process & cost optimization in 2014.
• Overhauling/repair of Plate Heat Exchangers for Fresh Cooling Water System carried out
successfully by forming the overhauling facility and resources in house the Ras Gas and

avoiding the support from vendors or contractors inside or outside RG. Work involved,
removal of exchangers, transport to the overhauling yard, dismantling all the plates,
removing existing gasket, cleaning and checking the plates, fixing new gasket and
reassembling the plates, hydro testing and remounting the exchangers. Around 35 to 40
exchangers have been overhauled from 2011 to 2015.
• Successfully repair of coolers of N2 Compressor 96-Y003-K001 by finding out the alternate
method of tube leak test at location and avoiding the coolers removal to workshop, saving
the equipment down time for about 15 days, cost of resources like crane and rigging
assistance and including cost optimized with rate of 13,910 USD/Day in case of importing
nitrogen from GASAL in 2014.
RECOGNITION & AWARDS
• Recognized in 2015 for excellent support and commitment for successful completion of
RGX & RRGX-2 Sea Water Filter repairs from Dec 2014 to April 2015.
• SHUKRAN AWARD received in 2013 for dedication efforts in Major Outages in Power &

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
To assist concern area engineer, to lead the teams of technicians, work planning, allocation of
work to the technicians, to receive / clear the PTW / LOA/ SFT, to conduct the Tool Box Talk/
Safety Meeting, to prepare/review the Spare Parts list and arrange the spare Parts, consumables,
special tools and tackles, to carry out supervision and inspection, to prepare Job Safety Analysis,
Work Package, necessary drawings, Bill of Material, Technical Reports, Daily Activities/
Monthly Activities Reports/ Daily Log Book etc.
ACHEIVEMENTS
• Designed, developed and fabricated the silencer for the vent point in lime water blending
vessel to control/minimize high whistling noise was creating during the auto venting cycles.
After fabrication and installation the noise has minimized to the normal level.
• Excellent support provided Electrical Maintenance Team and successfully initiated the
investigation and rectification the hiding problem for inefficient and insufficient discharge of
lime stone granules from Electro-Magnetic Vibratory Nozzle as EMT was unable to find out.
• Designed and developed special tools for steam and gas turbine overhauling

Employed for working with Ras Gas field maintenance team in carrying out the routine,
breakdown and preventive maintenance of rotating and static equipment like GE Frame-7 Gas
Turbine, each rated 65 MW, centrifugal compressors For propane and mixed refrigerant and fuel
gas handling, Pumps, Blowers, Fans, Fin Fans, Conveyors, Heat exchanger, Coolers,
Condensers, Columns, Vessels, Separators, Filters, Valves, Pipelines Etc. In Gas treating unit,
Acid Gas removal unit, Sulfur Recovery Unit, Dehydration unit, Liquefaction unit,
Refrigeration and refrigerant preparation unit, Nitrogen Rejection Unit, Sulfur Recovery Unit,

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
To co- ordinate Ras Gas foreman in assisting to concern area engineer, to take / clear PTW /
LOA, to carry out relevant maintenance activities. To lead and guide the teams of
technicians trouble shooting, to train the local on job trainees, to carry out inspection and test, to
prepare necessary drawings, Bill of materials, Spare Parts list, Work Package, Supervision on all
the activities by maintaining quality and progress with all the safety precautions according to the
Ras Gas Environment, Health and Safety rules and regulations. Preparing of all technical reports,
closing of work orders with utilized man-hours, maintaining of daily logbook and reporting time
to time to supervisor/engineer, Working with the vendors in carrying out inspection,
modification, repairs and overhauling activities, Working in shut down as an area
supervisor/coordinator and execute shut down activities by controlling quality and progress.
Working in Night Shifts as a Night Shift in charge on mechanical, instrumentation and
electrical technician crew and providing support to the process.
From 26.06.2005 to 05.01.2006 worked as a Mechanical supervisor under Qatar Chemical
Company Ltd. Mesaieed Industrial city Doha- Qatar, For their spare part Review project for
Rotating And Static Equipment Like Steam Turbines, Pumps, Compressors, Blowers, Fans,
mixers, agitators, Extruders, Pelletizers, Valves, Heat Exchangers, condensers, columns, EOT
Cranes etc.
ACHEIVEMENTS
• Provided excellent support and completed the major shutdown of Train1 Train2 head the
schedule time as it was trailing behind the schedule in Jun 2002 and received Shukran
Award.
• Provided excellent support and completed before schedule the repair of collapsed bed in
feed gas dryer 33-V001A/C/E
• Received SHUKRAN AWARD by RAS GAS for emergency refurbishment and
replacement of SRV / GCV of gas turbine 16-KT001 for MR Compressor in Jul 2002
• Received SHUKRAN AWARD by RAS GAS for the outstanding performance during D-
FOG modification project to install D-Fog retrofit in Air intake filter house of gas turbines
for 26-KT001/KT004, and 91-GTG 01/02/03 and achieving the targets before schedule time
by maintaining quality and safety.
• Designed, developed and fabricated special tool (Collapsible Stand) for replacing the Defog
elements and avoiding the standing directly on moveable deflector to prevent them from
damage.
• Received SHUKRAN AWARD by RAS GAS for outstanding efforts in repair of Gear-Box
for 36-KT004 in April 2005
