Iskanderabad is one of the pioneers Fertilizer units of AZGARD-9, (Agritech) Group of industries. Initially in this unit
Ammonium Sulphate was produced. Later on it started a Modernization & Expansion Project of 600/1050 MTPD Ammonia/Urea
(A Project of M/S TOYO Engineering Corporation of Japan), the Kellogg/ ACES process having latest total Distributed
Control System (TDCS 3000-X) which contains APM for high level calculation & advanced control strategies, LM for interlocking.
HM for system data storage, process history. Graphics display and Configuration information. The plant is also equipped with Hi-
Tech centrifugal compressors with latest programmed electronic Governing control system for Extraction/
Condensing Turbines with complete interlocking for safe operation.

Commissioning & Pre Commissioning
Remained fully involved in pre-commissioning and commissioning activities regarding at Urea & Ammonia Plants,
 Flushing of pipe lines.
 Steam Blowing.
 Catalysts loading of Hydrotreator, Desulphurizers, Primary Reformer, Secondary Reformer, Low temperature Shift
Converter, High temperature Shift Converter, Ammonia Converter and Methenator.
 Chemical cleaning of Steam and aMDEA circuits.
 Steam System Operation at Ammonia Plant.
 Oil flushing for Lube Oil and Control Oil lines of CO2 Compressor and Turbine.
 Solo run of Turbine (CO2 Compressor, Turbine) having advanced electronic digital governor.
 Test run of Turbine driven centrifugal Compressor (CO2 Compressor and Turbine)
 Water run of the whole plant.
 Vacuum test.
 Prilling test.
 Complete Startup / Shutdown of all the sections of new plant by DCS.
 Test run of High-speed centrifugal pump (Carbonate Feed Pump).
 Test run of High-pressure positive displacement pump with variable speed (Ammonia Feed Pump).

Responsibilities
.
My responsibilities are as follows,
· Responsible for the monitoring of plant performance,
· Study critical parameters and advice for any change in operating conditions,
· Responsible for the study, planning and realization of the maintenance and investment projects,
· Involved in the trouble shooting in the plant and assist in the activities, during shut downs,
· Identify and evaluate bottlenecks to improve the production rates of the plant,
· Should also study and make proposals for the modification of equipment, processes and instruments,
· Should maintain record of various of environmental releases, identify occupational hazards, risk assessment and control
in the plant,
· Should adhere Plant Quality, Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) and Environmental Systems and Policies.
· To assist Shift Engineer during shift regarding DCS Plant Control.
· To instruct field staff time to time about their sections during Normal operation and Emergency.
· Maintaining the record of plant operating parameters.
· To keep the plant running safe and smooth.
· Achieve the mentioned Targets. (Assign time to time by Unit Manager)
· Trouble shoots technical problems that occur during normal operation so as to keep plant running efficiently.
· Now plant is running safely at 110 % load.
· Hand on experience of Plant Operation through DCS and Field.
