1. To make my documentary as good as it can possibly be, I gathered more feedback from my target audience
who have watched my previous drafts. This was to find the last possible edits that I can make to make my
documentary better for my final draft.
The first two questions I asked, I also asked in my first feedback survey, this was to just make sure that the
answers were the same and that the editing that I had done since my first draft hadn’t altered my
documentary in a negative way at all. These questions were if my documentary interests them, to which the
answers remained the same and everyone voted yes. The second question was, “Does my documentary link
to the “Culture in the Digital Age Brief?” to which again, the answers remained the same and all responded
saying yes. This is good because it meant that the alterations that I have made to my documentary hasn’t
damaged it or changed it so much in a waythat it isn’t enjoyable for my target audience while still matching
the original brief.
2. The third question I asked was also asked in my original feedback from draft one, however I just wanted to
see if there were anynew improvements thatthey didn’t spot last time that they thought that I could improve
on. The good news was that all these answers were new, meaning the improvements that were suggested in
the first survey had been fully completed by draft three. All these new improvements roughly mentioned
the same concept and were related to sound. Some were more specific than others and told me what
specifically about the sound in my documentary that needed to be improved. These aspects were aimed
towards the interview section and the live music recordings. This is quite an easy fix as there are only two
parts of the documentary that need to be altered which I can do quite quickly in preparation for my final
draft.
As well as these improvements there is also an aspect that I noticed myself that I needed to improve, and
this was a spelling error on the interview section where I introduce each interviewee. This is an edit that I
will also change for my final draft, as well as the improvements that have been suggested to me by my
target audience.
