2. YouTube, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat &
Facebook
• YouTube was an essential website I used a lot
during this process, I visited YouTube daily to
look at existing products to help give me
inspiration. I also used YouTube to watch
tutorials about Photoshop which helped me
create my ancillary texts. I used YouTube to
upload my music video.
• All social networking websites helped me in my
planning and researching stage, as I used
them to get feedback on my products from
my friends this helped my improve my
products. I also decided I would create 3
social media accounts for my artist. I made a
fake Instagram, Twitter and Snapchat. I
decided to make these accounts for my artist
because now it is a free way of promoting and
advertising my artist, and also all major pop
artists have social media accounts so it has
somewhat become a social norm/ convention
within the music industry.
3. Other websites
• Other websites that I have used to help me present
my products are
• www.slideshare.com
4. • Slide share enabled me to uploaded my PowerPoints onto my blog
without having to save all the slides as individual JPEGs. This website
has helped me save a lot of time and is quick and easy to use.
Slideshare.
5. Survey Monkey
• Survey monkey helped me create surveys and analysed my data and
created bar charts which again saved me time because the website
collated all the relevant data efficiently and I didn’t have to add up all
the responses.
6. DaFont.com
• Dafont.com is a website where you can pick and choose different
types of fonts that are not on the normal drop down menu boxes on
word and other computer programs. I have used this website for the
fonts on my digipacks, which help them look like professional
products.
7. Prezi
• Prezi.com helped me present relevant information in a more fun and
inactive way that would look good on my blog.
