TV PROMOTION
We want advertise our trailer on a number of TV channels  but especially through ITV and Channel 4 which generates its money through advertisements.Also we would screen it on related on film channels.
Product placement We would use the process of Proliferation or  paid active or passive insertion on adverts and some TV shows. For example, 20th Century Fox commissioned an I, Robot-themed motorcycle, featured on two episodes  of American Chopper.This is a smart way of promoting the film as well as its own product and nearly ever film has a product placement in adverts.
'Extended placement We would also use the process of ‘Extended placement’: full episodes of television talk shows like 'Oprah and Jonathan Ross', entertainment news programs (ET, Hollywood Scoop), or network news programs (20/20), devoted to compensated exposure of the film, stars, clips, director, etcThis enables the audience to get involved and the cast or director of the film to promote its film. I believe this process is similar to 'previews' as its a chance for the audiences to see what the films going to be like and who stars in it etc.
Behind-The-Scenes Advertise on 'behind-the-scenes' documentary-style shows such as HBO, Showtime and 'Starz'This allows to allows to unveil  the audience in-depth and exclusive news, clips and making of movie or interviews with cast and directors. This targets the audience and the fan base.
