3. Definition
 A control room, operations center, or operations control center (OCC) is a room
serving as a central space where a large physical facility or physically dispersed
service can be monitored and controlled.

4. What is a Control Room Operator?
 Control Room Operators work in the control rooms of large plants, in
particular our Oil & Gas, where they monitor all of the operations of
the plants to ensure that everything is working properly.

5. Hazards in CCR & Panel Room
 Electrocution
 Fire
 Pinch point while opening floor tiles
 Fall of person in opened floor
 Dust
 Insects inside Cable Trench
 Reptiles.

6. Control Measures CCR
 Report to the Security
 Obtain Work Permit from Client
 Conduct pre job briefing
 Use tiles puller if want to remove the floor tiles
 Never use screwdriver to remove floor tiles
 Don’t stand on cable or cable trays
 Beware of insects that might be available under the cable trench area.
 If opening ceiling use proper access
 Housekeeping the area before and after the work
 First Aid box shall be available at all times
 Fire Extinguisher shall be available

7. Control Measures CCR Cont’d
 Don’t stock materials inside the CCR
 Proper lighting should be taken
 Don’t touch any item which is not covered by PTW System
 Make sure power is off / Isolated during termination
 Only Authorized entrant
 Never bring water inside (No drinking & eating)
 Wear right PPE
 Use correct tools as per job requirement
 No power supply to be taken without permission from Client
