Major Projects
Qatar Building Company, Qatar
Project: ERC 1400/ C4 – Development of Airport Road
Responsibilities: Daily planning, monitoring and control of 100 man power including Site Engineers and
fleet of equipment for mainly the construction of underground utilities like Surface water
drainage, sewerage, Traffic signal network, Telephone, EHV and HV cables etc. Attending
progress meeting with company management and client. Responsibility of Inspections,
SCR, FCR, etc.
Project: GTC 117/ 2006 - Power Supply (EHV Cable) to New Doha International Airport
Responsibilities: Site Manager of the project, control of 75 man power including Site Engineers and fleet of
equipment for the laying of underground 220KV EHV cable for New Doha international
airport. The contract was for 2 routes each having 2 feeders with 2x3cables including FO
cable, DTS cables, Joint bays, earthing, HDD crossings, etc. of about 22 Kilometre in route
length. Duty including supervising the Electrical sub –contractor, attending progress
meeting with company management and client. Responsibility of inspections, SCR, FCR,
etc. to complete the project in the scheduled time.
Project: GTC124/2006/C –Qatar Power Transmission System Expansion Phase VII- EHV Cables
Responsibilities: Site Manager of the project. This was a major EHV cable project (EPC) contains 270
Kilometre of 132 KV cable and around 260 Kilometre of 66 KV cable. Construction
including Joint bays, FO cables, DTS cables, etc. to complete and hand over. Duty including
supervising the Electrical sub – contractor, attending progress meeting with company
management and client. Responsibility of inspections, SCR, FCR etc. to complete the
project in the scheduled time.
Project: The GTC 142D/2006/C- Qatar Power Transmission System Expansion Phase VIII–220 KV
Cable
Responsibilities: Project Manager in Charge of the project. An EPC project contains 12 KM of 220 KV cables
2 feeder x3 cables to connect 2 sub stations. The cable route is running along the major
roads and in congested areas containing 40 No of major HDD crossings. Duty including
control of 100 man power including Site Engineers, fleet of equipment, sub-contractors
and attending progress meeting with company management and client. Responsibility of
inspections, SCR, FCR etc. to complete the project in the scheduled time
Project: CP 678/3 – Construction of PS25 Twin 1200mm DI Pumping Mains between Chainages
655m and 1359m
Responsibilities: Worked as a Project Engineer report to Sr. Project Manager .It was an EPC contract to
construct twin sewer rising mains from Pumping station to a treatment plant. DI pipe
lines run in the middle of major High way of Doha. Work involves Huge dewatering,
difficult road diversion to complete project in 12 months. Duty including planning,
execution, valuation, control of sub-contractor, dealing with the Government
departments, coordination with client and consultant and not limited to complete the
project in time and with profit.
Project: Lusail 101/09 – LDSTW –Design and Build Micro Tunnelling and Associated Works
Responsibilities: Worked as Project manager (on leave vacancy) report to DGM. Day to day site
responsibilities for the construction of micro tunnelling and installation of DI pipe lines
and GRP pipe lines. Duty including planning, execution, valuation, control of
subcontractor, dealing with Government departments, coordination with client and
consultant and not limited to complete the project in time and with profit.
Project: CP 626/2 – Ain Khalid Area Sewerage Phase -2
Responsibilities: Worked as Section Head of the 100 Man power including Engineers, fleet of equipment
and sub-contractor. Reporting to Sr. Project Manager. Major EPC project is for the
construction of 10000Nos of Man holes, 200 Km of VC pipe line, 5Km of micro tunnel and
20000Nos of House Connections. Duty including inspections, SCR, FCR etc. to complete
the project in the scheduled time and conducting progress meeting, attending meeting
with client and consultant .
4. Project: CP 763/2 – Rehabilitation of Existing Sewers within Najma Area, Doha
Responsibilities: Worked as Construction Manager Reporting to Project Director. Major EPC project is for
the construction of 450Nos of Man holes, 35 Km of VC or GRP pipe line, and 950Nos
House Connections. Scope includes cleaning of Existing sewers and re construct as per
new design.
Project: NPP 0050 – Road, Infrastructure and Utility Buildings for Naval Base of New Port, Doha
Responsibilities: Currently Working as Construction Manager Reporting to Project Director. In charge of
underground utilities comprises of 75 Kms electrical cables/750Nos of Electrical MHs, 65
Kms Telecommunication networks/ 465 Nos of JRCs/12 MRT MHs, Sewer 27Kms, 47Kms
of Storm water etc to have 400MnQAR out of 1600Mn QAR total project worth.
Controlling a group of 260 Man power including Engineering staff / workers and a fleet of
machineries. Organizing, planning monitoring executing the works based on the project
program and budget.
Al Naboodah Laing O’Rourke LLC. Dubai
Project: Expansion of Terminal building phase -3 Concrete Works.
Responsibilities: Responsible for form work and reinforcement for basement slabs. Supervising work men
and execute the job as per drawing and specifications. Coordinate with QA/QC
department and get approval from the consultant.
Costain Building and Civil Engineering. Hong Kong
Project: Land side infrastructure- Roads, Bridges & Drainages for Hong Kong international
Airport.
Responsibilities: Construction of sewage pumping stations, storm water pipe lines etc. and site
management and execution of all civil works
Kallada Irrigation Project. Govt. of Kerala
Project: Construction of Irrigation Canals.
Responsibilities: Worked as client representative for the construction of Irrigation canals including earth
work, Lining, construction of crossings etc. to commissioning
