1. Ferry Meadows - Nene Park
ADVANTAGES DISADVANTAGES
Clean and well maintained area with
beautiful scenery.
Parking available, but requires a small
fee, however some have commented that
the parking is the main disadvantage of
the park due to technical difficulties and
ticket prices.
Large, therefore there will be a lot of
filming space.
A popular destination, meaning it may be
busy, it might take time to film without
the presence of others.
2.
3. Crown Lakes Country Park
ADVANTAGES DISADVANTAGES
Known to be quiet, therefore it will be
easier to find filming locations without the
presence of many people.
Less clean or well maintained, it’s a bit too
muddy especially during the winter time,
which can become a safety hazard.
Free parking available. Park is mainly attended by dog walkers
and therefore their dogs also, it may be
difficult to film.
There may be some motorbikes within the
area.
4.
5. Old Forest Walk Pond
ADVANTAGES DISADVANTAGES
Beautiful and ideal scenery for
filming, with lots of vegetation and
greenery.
Small area, which may limit the amount
we can film within the area.
Attended by dog walkers, again this
might effect filming by distracting
us.
6.
7. Boardwalks Nature Reserve
ADVANTAGES DISADVANTAGES
Beautiful scenery. Area known for dog walking, which
might effect specifically where we can
film without disrupting others.
Hidden area, meaning there may be few
people present on the day of filming, the
area is also extensive, meaning we would
have a lot of space for filming.
Unkempt area, which may be difficult t
access.

9. • We would have to film early in the morning, otherwise we would have to push the
contrast when editing to make the footage less dark.
• Ideally the area should be quite large, to give us plenty of places to find good shots
within the area.
• The scenery should aesthetically beautiful, with lots of trees, bushes and general
vegetation, this would make shots more interesting and visually appealing.
• The area should be relatively hidden, or perhaps not a popular of well visited area,
because this would mean that there would be less people around when we would
film which wouldn’t distract us or disrupt them. There would also be less of a
chance of capturing anyone around the area on camera by accident, which would
obviously ruin footage.
Things to note:
