RINGKASAN MATERI STRATEGIC MANAGEMENT : VISION
AND COMPANY MISSION, LONGTERM OBJECTIVE,
CORPORATE CULTURE, CORPORATE GOVERNANCE AND
THE AGENCY THEORY

Executive Summary Materi
1) Vision and Company Mission,
Visi adalah cita - cita atau impian sebuah organisasi atau perusahaan yang ingin
dicapai di masa depan untuk menjamin kelestarian dan kesuksesan jangka panjang.
Misi adalah pernyataan tentang apa yang harus dikerjakan oleh lembaga dalam
usahanya mewujudkan Visi. Dalam operasionalnya orang berpedoman pada pernyataan misi
yang merupakan hasil kompromi intepretasi Visi. Misi merupakan sesuatu yang nyata untuk
dituju serta dapat pula memberikan petunjuk garis besar cara pencapaian Visi.

2) Longterm objective
Adalah tujuan jangka panjang menggambarkan hasil-hasil yang diinginkan setelah
melakukan berbagai stategi, biasanya dengan jangka waktu 2 – 5 tahun.
Ada beberapa istilah yang digunakan dalam long term objective
a. The Nature of Long-Term Objectives
Objektif harusnya bersifat kuantitatif, dapat diukur, dipahami, challenging,
hierarchical, namun dapat dicapai dan kongruen diantara unit-unit dalam organisasi –
objektif harus terasosiasi pula dengan timeline.
b. Financial Objectives
Objektif finansial biasanya berkaitan dengan pertumbuhan revenue, earning, dividen
dan profit margin yang lebih tinggi, dll;
c. Strategic Objectives
objektif stratejik mencakup kenaikan market share, delivery time yang lebih singkat
dari rival, biaya lebih rendah dari rival, cakupan geografis yang lebih luas dari rival,
dll.
d. Not Managing by Objectives
artinya aktivitas-aktivitas perusahaan tidak didrive oleh objective-objective tertentu
- Managing by Extrapolation, bertindak dengan melakukan hal yang sama
- Managing by Crisis, bertindak menunggu event/krisis terjadi
- Managing by Subjectives, kebijakan organisasi dengan cara setiap orang hanya
diminta untuk melakukan terbaik yang mereka rasa bisa mereka lakukan
- Managing by Hope, keputusan dibuat berdasarkan keyakinan bahwa masa depan
akan terjadi sesuai dengan asumsi-asumsi yang kita harapkan.
e. The Balanced Score card
Balanced score card adalah alat mengevaluasi strategi dan teknik untuk mengontrol.
Balanced scorecard digunakan untuk menyeimbangkan financial measures dengan
mengontrol nonfinancial measures, seperti: kualitas produk dan layanan pelanggan.

3) Corporate Culture,
Corporate culture is an organization’s value system and its collection of guiding
principles

4) Corporate Governance
Corporate governance is Primarily concerned with public listed companies and
focused on preventing corporate from collapses
Corporate governance parties are sharehoders, directors, manager. Four pillars of
corporate governance are accountability, fairness, transparency, independence
(Ali, Hapzi, 2019)
5) The Agency Theory
Teori keagenan adalah teori yang mengasumsikan bahwa semua individu bertindak
untuk kepentingannya sendiri. Pemegang saham diasumsikan hanya bertindak
terhadap hasil keuangan perusahaan sebagai peningkat investasi, sedangkan agen
diasumsikan sebagai penerima kepuasan yang berupa kompensasi keuangan beserta
syarat-syaratnya.

Mission :
a. Good Neighbors exists to make the world a place without hunger, where people live
together in harmony.
b. Good Neighbors respects the human rights of our neighbors suffering from poverty,
disasters and oppression, and helps them to achieve self-reliance and enable them to
rebuild their hope.
 Longterm objective
a. Education : to contribute to promoted lifelong learning opportunities for children and
youth
b. Health : to contribute to decreased child mortality rate
c. Economy : to contribute to increased income
 Corporate Culture
 We work in any place where there is a need, regardless of race, religion, ideology, and
beyond geographical constraints.
 We prioritize the rights of children
 We encourage people to join Good Neighbors as donors to participate in our work.
 We work in cooperation with our local partners who share our community development
goals.
 We promote self-reliance and the sustainable development of individuals, families and
communities.
 We mobilize and organize local volunteers to participate in developing their communities
 We maintain professional accountability and transparency by reporting to our donors on the
status of projects and finances.
 We strive to encourage more people to join our work as members.

Executive Summary Materi 1) Vision and Company Mission, Visi adalah cita - cita atau impian sebuah organisasi atau perusahaan yang ingin dicapai di masa depan untuk menjamin kelestarian dan kesuksesan jangka panjang. Misi adalah pernyataan tentang apa yang harus dikerjakan oleh lembaga dalam usahanya mewujudkan Visi. Dalam operasionalnya orang berpedoman pada pernyataan misi yang merupakan hasil kompromi intepretasi Visi. Misi merupakan sesuatu yang nyata untuk dituju serta dapat pula memberikan petunjuk garis besar cara pencapaian Visi. (Ali, Hapzi, 2019) 2) Longterm objective Adalah tujuan jangka panjang menggambarkan hasil-hasil yang diinginkan setelah melakukan berbagai stategi, biasanya dengan jangka waktu 2 – 5 tahun. Ada beberapa istilah yang digunakan dalam long term objective a. The Nature of Long-Term Objectives Objektif harusnya bersifat kuantitatif, dapat diukur, dipahami, challenging, hierarchical, namun dapat dicapai dan kongruen diantara unit-unit dalam organisasi – objektif harus terasosiasi pula dengan timeline. b. Financial Objectives Objektif finansial biasanya berkaitan dengan pertumbuhan revenue, earning, dividen dan profit margin yang lebih tinggi, dll; c. Strategic Objectives objektif stratejik mencakup kenaikan market share, delivery time yang lebih singkat dari rival, biaya lebih rendah dari rival, cakupan geografis yang lebih luas dari rival, dll. d. Not Managing by Objectives artinya aktivitas-aktivitas perusahaan tidak didrive oleh objective-objective tertentu - Managing by Extrapolation, bertindak dengan melakukan hal yang sama - Managing by Crisis, bertindak menunggu event/krisis terjadi
  • 3. - Managing by Subjectives, kebijakan organisasi dengan cara setiap orang hanya diminta untuk melakukan terbaik yang mereka rasa bisa mereka lakukan - Managing by Hope, keputusan dibuat berdasarkan keyakinan bahwa masa depan akan terjadi sesuai dengan asumsi-asumsi yang kita harapkan. e. The Balanced Score card Balanced score card adalah alat mengevaluasi strategi dan teknik untuk mengontrol. Balanced scorecard digunakan untuk menyeimbangkan financial measures dengan mengontrol nonfinancial measures, seperti: kualitas produk dan layanan pelanggan. (Ali, Hapzi, 2019) 3) Corporate Culture, Corporate culture is an organization’s value system and its collection of guiding principles (Ali, Hapzi, 2019) 4) Corporate Governance Corporate governance is Primarily concerned with public listed companies and focused on preventing corporate from collapses Corporate governance parties are sharehoders, directors, manager. Four pillars of corporate governance are accountability, fairness, transparency, independence (Ali, Hapzi, 2019) 5) The Agency Theory Teori keagenan adalah teori yang mengasumsikan bahwa semua individu bertindak untuk kepentingannya sendiri. Pemegang saham diasumsikan hanya bertindak terhadap hasil keuangan perusahaan sebagai peningkat investasi, sedangkan agen diasumsikan sebagai penerima kepuasan yang berupa kompensasi keuangan beserta syarat-syaratnya. (Ali, Hapzi, 2019)

Good Neighbors respects the human rights of our neighbors suffering from poverty, disasters and oppression, and helps them to achieve self-reliance and enable them to rebuild their hope.  Longterm objective a. Education : to contribute to promoted lifelong learning opportunities for children and youth b. Health : to contribute to decreased child mortality rate c. Economy : to contribute to increased income  Corporate Culture  We work in any place where there is a need, regardless of race, religion, ideology, and beyond geographical constraints.  We prioritize the rights of children
