 Effects of discretization, solution scheme and Reynolds number, among others were analyzed.
 Verification using manufactured solution and validation with literature and Fluent results was done.
Effect of rear slant angle on flow characteristics around a bluff body Aug – Nov 2014
 Analyzed the critical points in the rear wake region of the bluff body for effect on pressure drag.
 Validated the results obtained from Fluent against experimental results in available literature.
Plastic stress prediction using JC and ZA constitutive models Aug – Nov 2013
 Predicted stress in plastic region for various grades of steel using constitutive models.
 Experimentally validated parameters were used in LS-DYNA to study deep drawing processes.
Fabrication of single seater hovercraft with payload capacity of 175lbs Sep – Dec 2012
 Designed, analyzed and fabricated a hovercraft, as a part of SAE team project.
