 Worked on operations related to the supply, distribution and marketing of
petroleum products across south Karnataka.

Hassan depot on a daily basis.

Gas Dynamics and Propulsion Laboratory
 Fabricated various hardware components required for PIV in the Oil
Hydrodynamics section sponsored by Halliburton
 Assisted in the running of Particle Image Velocimetry (PIV) experiments under
various conditions to optimize the whole setup
MS Thesis
 “Modeling & simulation of non-reacting flows in a swirl stabilized lean
pressure atomizer’’ in relation to the design of advanced combustion
technologies with the objective of reducing NOx emissions from gas turbines.
 The atomizer includes both single and double swirler exit whose modelling
was done using Solidworks. The design incorporated an axial swirling vane
with flat blades.
 A RANS (Reynolds Averaged Navier Stoke) model along with a standard k-€
solver was used to incorporate the effects of turbulence in a non-reacting flow
for Fluent simulations.
 Parametric investigation of the flowfield in the combustion chamber was
carried out to find stable combustion zones i.e. location of formation of
recirculation zones and compare the results with experiments.

 Design, fabrication and performance study of fiber reinforced plastic
made H-Darrieus rotor using wind tunnel experiments and CFD analysis
as a senior project at NIT, Silchar. August 2007 to May 2008
 Trade off studies for a turbofan engine design of Boeing-787 using

 Computing effective perceived noise level (EPNL) of an aircraft during
flyover using Matlab. (Spring 2013)
 Numerical study of flow through a 2-D converging-diverging nozzle using

 Numerical study of a 2-D incompressible flow inside a backstep channel
using Gambit and Fluent. (Spring 2013)
 Grid generation and numerical simulation of an Onera M6 wing using
Gambit and Fluent. (Spring 2013)
Extracurricular Activities
Project Coordinator of Association of India’s Development (AID Cincinnati), a
University of Cincinnati student organization for 2013-14. Involved in planning and
execution of India’s Republic day celebrations held on January 26 2013, Taste of India,
held on 04 March 2013 and Harmony held on November 23, 2013, which are AID’s
flagship events.
